  1. I mean, I guess I sort of get why they do that - but I still hate it. I honestly don't give a fuck about a player's NFL potential (unless he's making Texas look good). All I really want to know is "what can this guy do for my college team? What kind of impact will he have in CFB?" Plus, it seems like they're not even doing a great job at that
  2. The rankings are even more ass than usual this year. There are WAY more "three stars" than ever with offers from Bama, Texas, LSU, tOSU, USC, UM, UF, etc. They really need to just scrap the current ones and start over from scratch. Look at Daniel Cruz, for example (yes, I know he's a low 4 star in the composite). Ryan Day and Jimbo would've given their middle nuts for a commitment from that kid. And there's DOZENS of other examples just like him with even more egregious rankings
  3. I was curious about Filsaime and why we don't seem to be recruiting him- and neither do aggy or OU - so I went and watched his HUDL. I am substantially less curious now. Absolutely nothing about his highlights jump out to me. What am I missing? Did he test super well or something? He doesn't seem especially fast or quick on tape but maybe he ran a FAT 10.2 or something and that's why the $9.95ers like him? But he looks like a Haynes King special to me with none of the regional powers seemingly pushing for him http://www.hudl.com/v/2J8k2n
  4. For real. It looked like they were being coached by Roy Johnson from BS High. Definitely one of the funniest things I can remember in a CFB game
  5. My bad. I sometimes forget that he wasn't a senior because of how amaizng he was. Fixed.
  6. Highest passer efficiency in the country his junior year. And all anyone talked about was his running. But having him with Sweed, Selvin, Ramonce, Thomas, Pittman, and Jamaal was filthy. Even Myron Hardy, Nate Jones, and Peter Ullman stood up to make the occasional play. Hardy's catch in the 2005 title game in particular always stodd out to me. If Henry Melton would've decdided to lower his shoulder more to bowl people over and stopped trying to run like Reggie Bush, he could've been a really special RB (not that he wasn't a good DE eventually). And holy shit, the OL. So mean and nasty. That team was just so stacked
  7. Dominick McKinley HUDL for anyone who hasn't seen it yet: https://www.hudl.com/video/3/15175017/637aa82b2aa6660908a67108 The young man is freakishly fast and quick for his size. I've heard rumors on here that he doesn't really love football all that much and is just maybe too nice of a kid. That said, we had a similar deal with Malik and Okam (at least at first with Okam) and they turned out well for us. Based on the first play alone on McKinley's HUDL (the pick six), I'd give my middle nut to get him to Texas. May have to throw a few more bucks into the Texas One Fund after seeing that interception and return
  8. Was just coming here to the post this. A lot of similarities between LSU and aggy with the insane numbers suddenly becoming indisputable fact. I thought y'all were better than that, LSU. Not a lot better. But at least a little. Dropping to aggy levels is just sad for any program, even the corndogs
  9. That's a spectacular idea. I already give like $100 a month but it would be just too perfect to do another $20/month in the name of a particularly obnoxious aggy in-law
  10. The whole "WE DONE STOMPIN THEM TU FOLK AT CROOTIN" narrative is especially hysterical when you consider that 8 of our 11 commits have aggy offers and 6 of their 18 commits have Texas offers. That's not a typo. SIX of their commits have Texas offers. 33% is apparently "beating the hell out of" 73%. Gotta love aggy math But sure. We're the irrational ones filled with cognitive dissonance. aggy logic and math at its absolute finest
  11. I'm no daddy98 but Landon Rink looks like a high 3-star/low 4-star in the same way that Sam Acho, Joseph Ossai, Poona Ford, and Moro Ojomo were (and, yes, I know that Ossai was a solid 4-star by the end of the recruiting cycle but, IIRC, he spent a lot of it rated as a high 3/low 4-star recuit). My only concerns: 1) are what position Rink will play (e.g. will he be able to add the weight to play DT); and 2) whether he's more maxed out/developed than kids his age due to coaching and all the instruction I'm sure he's gotten from his dad. That kid's motor just does not seem to sto Edit: unless he goes to okie or aggy. Then he's bread and he fucking sucks ass. But as long as he picks Texas, he's an amazing get. That's just how it is. I don't make the rules
  12. Is it me or does this kid look fast as fuck for his size? http://www.hudl.com/v/2JLLWq
  13. I would also pay to see this. It would be like tossing an armless crab into a tank with a hungry octopus
  14. Thanks again - the product we ordered is working great and she's sleeping much better. We'll definitely be ordering more pretty soon. Thanks again for the great advice and fantasti service! Plus, we're just always happy to do business with other Horns!
  15. IMO, the woman on the far right is the hottest. But there's something about that hummingbird tattoo in such a random place on the girl on the left that just screams to me "I'm a complete freak." So she's my number one here. Unless the other two have any tats I can't see that might change my mind. And they very well might. Anyway, 1a, 1c, 1b,
  16. This kid is rapidly becoming one of my all time favorite Horns. I'd hate to see Quinn get hurt but I would like to see Maalik in action and maybe even start a few times. Just unreal arm talent - and you can tell he's come a LOOOONG way from last year. I know there's basically no way we keep him around but what a good kid who's done everything that's been asked of him and stayed loyal (at least for now).
  17. Order placed - plus some CBD bones for my poor 4 year old puppy with severe immume mediated polyarthritis. Thanks so much - and, as always, a pleasure to do business with a fellow Horn!
  18. Thanks so much again for all the help! I'm on my way out the door for a very early anniversary date night and hotel stay downtown but I've bookmarked the post and will make an order shortly. Thank you again - my wife and I really, really appreciate it and it's alway great to support another Horn - especially one that isn't one of the seemingly 95% of posters that's yet another filthy lawyer infesting this place, myself included (kidding - sort of).
  19. Thanks so much for for the quick response. It's actually for my wife. She's a daily user - but she only uses it at bedtime to help with insomnia. Here's kind of the issue though: although they do help her, a lot of the brands she's tried in the past give her terrible anxiety before she falls asleep and some don't help that well. What we're looking for is for something to just help her sleep as quickly as possible with minimal hassle or anxiety. Any help would be really, really appreciated. Thanks again!
  20. I know they need QB depth in the worst way and that's probably all this is - but the optimist in me is REALLY hoping that this is somhow reflective of Petrino's feelings on Weigman and his "spectcular" spring game performance. Doubtful, but I guess I can dream.
  21. Random question - and please forgive me if this has been covered or discussed ad nauesium. Is there anything that we could do to kind of get some of the potentially enthusiastic non-contributors "off the bench?" Maybe ads aren't way to go because overhead but something like that to get people who would like be involved but just kind of don't realize that NIL/Texas One is out there? I'm sure y'all have covered all this stuff but I just thought I'd ask. Or is just going to have to be worth of mouth? Maybe it's it already satudated and the people who are inclined to contribute like a lot us here are already doing so. OR maybe like volunteer saleys type guys or something? Like people in hydropics or something. Anyway, please excuse the potentially stiupid question. I giess we maybe could start adding vouchers to improve season ticket seat levels (KIDDING OBVIOUSLY).
  22. @MrRogue -I actually have a quick question. What would be the absolute perfect product you have for nodding off very quickly getting a great's night's sleep? When you go a local shop here they tend to give you a bunch of different options and it's really, really not very me clear at all what I'm supposed to pick as someone who knows nothing abotu this stuff. I just want pass right out the hell out ASAP and stay that way until it's time to wake up. When I actialy get something that's pretty good, it definitely beats the hell out of the "traditional" stardard sleep meds. If you could maybe narrow it down to maybe two one or two products that are the absolute best for the kind of thing, I will definitely make it worht your while. Thanks! Any help would be great appreciated and I'd absoluely love to purchase from a fellow Horn if possibke.. Thanks1
  23. "I used to do drugs. I still do. But I used to, too."
  24. I love it. "Stupid sips. Losing so many guys to the portal is actually a good thing. It's good that we'll only have 65 scholarship players because we're getting rid of dead weight."
