I for one welcome our new AI overlords
Quoting myself here, but the notion all these new datacenters (and the house-of-cards debt financing behind them) was floated out over CNBC today: https://www.cnbc.com/2025/12/17/oracle-stock-blue-owl-michigan-data-center.html

It's kinda difficult to modify high-rise floorplates to accomodate subfloor water cooling loops, DC switchgear and battery rooms. Then you need a place for an entire different chilled water plant (seperate from comfort air), along with a massive bank of diesel and/or turbine generators, multiple utility feeds and multiple service entries for private fiber and diverse telecom circuits. So much utility infrastructure is involved that it only makes sense to build everything on a low, flat plane that starts life as slab-on-grade, reinforced tilt-wall structure.

Could this be the craziest coaching carousel of all time?
There's only one Regions Bank, one Yellawood, one Pilot truck stop and one Coca-Cola United. Sorry for your shithole.

2025 Texas Coaching/Support Staff Thread
Searles' daughter still works for Texas but he seems to be set in Georgia. I'd also like to see Pittman, provided he's capable of developing an individual unit and he game hasn't passed him by.

Holy shit you dipshits: 9-3 Texas is probably in the playoffs
No. We'll get his face buried in a playsheet or notepad, even while on defense, and nothing but looks of bewilderment when an official throws a bullshit flag.

You just take a look out there and see all the rudderless programs ahead of us in the CFP.

Are we 3-2 against Maryland? For those records above, I don't mind that we begin whittling them down with future OOC schedules.

Lane Kiffin to LSU?
Kiffin and Ole Miss couldn't keep Quinshon Judkins on their roster, where Ohio State seemed to be the highest bidder during the '23 transfer portal cycle.

"...uncharacterly undisciplined, and are you surprised you see that this late in the season?

This is who Steve Sarkisian is.
We've been at least in the top-10 for most of that tenure and recruiting rankings from 4 years ago don't make a shit when those classes have graduated or portaled in/out over their eligibility. There isn't another team in the SEC we are behind in recruiting. You can't say Ole Miss is a vastly superior team by talent, yet they would boatrace this team in Oxford. It's all player development and execution.

Texas One Fund wasn't around for Herman and Chuckles to mismanage $30M+ in annual talent. The script has changed and with that collective, the leash became shorter. The midseason firings among other programs were timed to retain their talent. The message is clear that the value of the established 2-deep is greater than the annual HC's compensation.

TTU's Matador Club and Cody Campbell spent $28M in the transfer portal prior to this season.. did our alum not see that coming? David Booth just gave KU $300M to spend on football and facilities. They know exactly what's going on and who can be money-whipped.

Texas @ Georgia November 15, 2025 - The Beginning or The End
1.) Nothing 2.) Forced to make assistant coaching changes 3.) More $$ for OL 4.) Not hiring a total asshole coach like we need to get past this Kirby fuck.

Bleach Blonde Bad Built Butch Body in Congress? Oh you mean Marjorie!
She flipped on the ACA subsidy issue because she knows she'll be primaried next year as a political dead end, and she found no support for the Senate nor Governor seats.

Jeffrey Epstein needs his own thread
Kompromat confirmed. I gotta look for these Epstein E-mails to Lavrov in 2018, recalling the Alaska summit earlier this year. I can't find the MSM articles that reported this, but there was a moment with Putin's envoy when Trump's cabinet members left a speech stunned / blushing. https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/world/karoline-leavitt-looked-ashen-almost-frightened-after-alaska-summit-with-putin/ar-AA1KELpI?ocid=oie8dlpg

Trump’s America
The 50-year mortgage will just drive prices higher. Any market mechanism to lower monthly payments will be offset by price appreciation until mortgage payments rise to what the market will bear… which should settle around the same before the 50-year option is created. The initial demand increment will drive price further, so we all get fucked with greater insurance and property tax liability.

If only Democrats policy makers could just simply adopt this message in response to every manipulative grifter in politics, we might start getting somewhere beyond NYC.

I noticed that too, however, that same demolition firm is being examined for skirting Asbestos abatement procedures and perhaps operating with an expired license. https://www.enr.com/articles/61797-contractor-compliance-risk-mounts-for-firms-in-white-house-east-wing-demolition

My AI contrarian self believes the packaged debt (CLOs) all these datacenter construction projects run on will join the CMBS default party. https://www.channelfutures.com/data-centers/big-ai-data-center-deals-of-oracle-peers-run-on-debt https://www.theatlantic.com/technology/2025/10/data-centers-ai-crash/684765/ If Satya Nadella is out here saying MSFT hasn't secured enough power generation to even run all the GPUs they've committed, how will AWS and the lesser players manage once the token race to the bottom takes hold? These datacenters will remain unprofitable. https://www.pcgamer.com/software/ai/if-microsoft-cant-source-enough-electricity-to-power-all-the-ai-gpus-it-has-you-have-to-wonder-how-amazon-is-going-to-cope-in-its-new-usd38-billion-deal-with-openai/

ChatGPT AI Tool— We all work for robots now
Sam Altman is doing a delightful job of diluting the legitimacy of his product, where over the last quarter, he's attempting to be everything to everyone, guaranteeing his platform will be trusted to nobody. He's recently placed or proposed the following: Walmart's mass-market retail and e-commerce partnership AI compute infrastructure and energy Custom chip manufacturing, which I'm not sure is even tangible LinkedIn-replacement employment and jobs search Robotics and consumer embedded AI AI-driven digital identity systems Sora's social media AI slop And now... adult content and generative media experimentation.
