  1. I will never have to accidentally hear Beth Mowins again. They broke up RG3 and Mark Jones, too bad Jones still has a job. Haha he's on the aggy call Saturday.
  2. ESPN could fuck up a cheeseburger
  3. The N stands for Knowledge is cursed now. This is like 2-16 their last one score games? Fucking brutal.
  4. SEC team getting their shit pushed in on a national stage. I love to see it. UF is going to be one of the tougher games on Georgia's schedule this year. What a fucking joke.
  5. So the multi view is a cool feature but you can't actually pick what is in it...you have to pick a combo YouTubeTV has decided upon...this is fucking absurd. Right now I can watch up to 4 games of various combinations but NONE OF THEM include Minnesota-Nebraska AND UF-Utah. How is this even possible? The two most desirable games not being in a single multi view stream and there are TWENTY SIX multi view streams.
  6. That 1994 Rice game was fucking awful. It was a weird week being a Sunday game. So there was an extra night when players had a curfew but were not in a hote, so basically an honor system... A bunch of players broke that curfew and were out on 6th doing college kid stuff, nothing illegal beyond some guys under 21 drinking. Well a Dline coach saw some players out who all happened to be black, and those guys got suspended but none of the white guys who were also breaking curfew got suspended because they weren't seen/caught. This really split the team and there was talk of dudes sitting out in protest. So the game happens and we try and throw in monsoon conditions without top targets and the defense is phoning it in, they were the guys talking about sitting out. We lose and the cherry on top was Westbrook suffering a season ending injury.

    Starfield

It's got an 88 on Metacritic with 50ish reviews and none lower than 75. This dude is a machine. He says it is less buggy at release than FO4 and Skyrim are now.
  8. I will say in our increasingly risk averse society it is interesting that football games are still casually scheduled for days/times when the temp on the field will be 120-130F. But see some lightning over there? Game stopped until you can't see it.
  9. Need to get the guy heat treating his 3 year old at the Rice game out to the tailgate.
  10. I don't see how they get to 4 wins. What I am looking forward to is how he will spin some of the atomic beatdowns they are going to have in September. I feel like he will throw his players under the bus without even thinking about it.
  11. In seed order Georgia, Texas, Michigan, Alabama. Georgia, duh. Their toughest game before the SEC championship game is Tennessee. Two time champ, they are a lock even if they go 12-1 and don't win the conference. It's difficult to contrive a scenario where they don't get in. Texas. We will be favored in every game except 1 and its an out of conference game against one of the all time great programs who is still in the midst of probably the most dominant run in the BCS/CFP era. We've underachieved for over a decade but this is the strongest roster since 2009 where we were one of the two best teams in the country. I think we are one of the four best this year. Michigan. Easy-ish schedule, a couple of tough games Penn State (road) and Ohio State (home). After that they are probably double digit favorites in every game. Alabama. I do think Saban still has it. I absolutely think he would rather have a great QB than have to play bully ball and try to win with a ground game and a defense but he is gonna try and make do with what he has and I like that approach rather than morons trying to run their 'systems' with whatever guys happen to be on the roster. SEC West is still tough though and this is the seed I have the least confidence in just because of their road to get there.
  12. Regarding the intro...it looks like I'll take you there or whatever that was Saturday was a one off: The College GameDay theme song is remaining the same, but it will now be performed by an entirely new lineup of country music stars. Darius Rucker, Lainey Wilson and The Cadillac Three will now be performing 'Comin' To Your City' for the 2023 college football season and beyond
  13. What a wild story. It's hard to believe. 2 football games in 3 days is some fucked up shit. Also it was not in the doc but they played IMG the year before the televised debacle and also got smoked. I tried to see if any of those players ever made it to D1 and it looks like 2 of them are walk ons at Louisville.
  14. Fucking targeting. What a shit rule.
  15. I find it hilarious 2 of the 3 guys picked 2 SEC teams and 2 Big 10 teams to make the CFP. Also they were all strangely high on Bama and almost dismissive of UGA when it came to the SEC discussion.
  16. Man that ND/Navy game was a beating. Like an NFL preseason game...technically football but man, hard to watch.
  17. So its 2 hours today starting an hour later than normal...are they back down to 2 hours or is this just abbreviated because its week 0? Hopefully the former but likely the latter.
  18. Yeah I was excited because it used to be the 3rd preseason game was the one where you could see the starters...but now that there are only 3 preseason games and not 4 week 2 is the week where you see starters, apparently. I think Bijan got like 1 series in week 2...
  19. Dez is safe though...lol what a joke.
  20. They really should have gone much harder on Urban and whoever was in charge. The rosters he recruited at UF ended up with something like 30 arrests including a bunch of felonies. That said just as a show to be entertained by, it works for me. I am not a huge NFL fan but if I have to choose between this and Hard Knocks season 20 featuring the Jets. Again. I'm going with this every time.
  21. Yeah my league is 12 teams and I don't know where I'm drafting yet but if some other cunt gets him I'm going to be terribly vexed.

  23. I just entered Act 3, about 60 hours in for me. So far, no crazy bugs. I have had a handful of out of place dialogues where someone will say something that maybe didn't happen or has not happened yet but these are your camp conversations I am talking about and not that big of a deal. Having played EA I was expecting more bugs and/or a more bare bones story/world when it came to Act 2 and beyond, the content that was not play tested by millions for 3 years. I am happy to say that this just isn't the case. I have seen a few rules bugs and had a character roll around with a ! over his head for a while, which means he has something to talk about with you, even though he didn't have anything new to talk about it. I am running it on a 4070ti @4k 60fps and it has never dipped below 60 that I have noticed. That said, I have heard that Act 3 has some frame rate killing environments. I have had exactly 1 crash. Technically the game is in a much better state than DOS/DOS2 were at release.
  24. I mean if you have a good PC the answer is almost always PC. I will say that like all Larian games inventory is a nightmare...terrible with a mouse and keyboard I can only imagine what it would be like with a gamepad.
  25. I like the game a lot but I still feel like it's DOS3 set in the Forgotten Realms rather than an actual BG3. Like so many combats just have barrels of shit waiting to explode near by and all sorts of Z axis shenanigans that are not maybe clear initially to the player but the AI will make a beeline for. But yeah, what a game. Crazy amount of character customization, fantastic voice acting and so many things that can influence dialogue. Seems like a massive hit too, like MASSIVE. 450K people playing the game on Steam at 9a central on a Friday. 3rd most popular game on Steam at the moment and the top 10 are almost all multiplayer FPS shit.
