Trump Decides Cristobol Columbus Needs A Reach Around (The World).
Say what you want about the Nazis, but Hugo Boss was the bomb.* * I looked it up. Apparently, Hugo Boss didn't design the uniforms, as commonly believed, but happily produced them.

I'm sure he was a total dick. Many an amazing feat was accomplished and/or created by people who were total fucking dicks, cause sometimes, that what it takes. Joseph Heller wrote my favorite book, Catch 22, and pretty everyone said he was a total dick. Heck, Charles Schulz, creator of Peanuts, was supposedly a total fucking dick.

As happy as I am for Tre Wisner, I’m sad for Cedric Baxter. If you remember him from three seasons ago, he was a force and completely fast, elusive and strong as hell. Plus, he’s a really nice person. I am afraid we may never see him reach his former self. I hope he has used his NIL money wisely. He told em that he wanted to start an apparel brand and had even created the logo, which was nice. More power to him for a full return to his former talent and I wish him health, wealth and success!

Trump Decides Cristobol Columbus Needs A Reach Around (The World).
His feats of navigation were fairly incredible, considering he made four trips back in forth in ships that were 50-70 feet long and he sailed by the stars and dead-reckoning. His first voyage took two months across unknown seas, so yeah, it was impressive. It's difficult to judge someone from antiquity by our standards. Spain was emerging from 800 years of Moorish rule. Much of it was brutal and it shaped their world-view. The cruelty he exhibited was fairly standard for the times. Anyone who loves history, and I assume you do, knows humans kinda suck. And his discoveries laid the path for development of the New World, so yes, he had a huge impact on the eventual forming of the United States.

He was a beautiful writer, for sure. Just the first sentence of Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas: “We were somewhere around Barstow on the edge of the desert when the drugs began to take hold.”- Bill Belichick Rides Again: Hired at North Carolina to build NIL NFL Factory
Assistant coach allegedly said, “What we’ve done to the kids is fucked up,” lol.- Bill Belichick Rides Again: Hired at North Carolina to build NIL NFL Factory
Apparently lol Uncle Bill is discussing a buyout w North Carolina, his coaches said they couldn’t get a hold of him during the bye week, and the school might be using recruiting violations to reduce his payout. Wow. Shoot, the story just keeps getting better but I’m gonna be sad if it’s over. https://www.foxsports.com/stories/college-football/bill-belichick-unc-reportedly-discussing-possible-buyout-options- Donald Trump “has plenary authority”
Fair point, but again, pure speculation. America does a great job of reinventing itself. When I worked in Europe, all those fuckers used to rib me about how bad our phones were compared to Nokia. (Which is funny, since none of those assholes were from Finland, but they took credit for it.) Now, all of them have iphones, tablets, airpods, etc.- Donald Trump “has plenary authority”
Sounds like whomever is behind AMD's stock strategy needs a promotion!- Donald Trump “has plenary authority”
That has nothing to do with what I am discussing.- Donald Trump “has plenary authority”
I'll let you guys argue all those points because you're better informed than me. My point is agnostic to politics: That it's common nature to think things are bad when by any measure, things are pretty good for most Americans and the world in general. You're presenting an imagined scenario that you envision could happen, and are referring to it like it's realty. It's not reality.- Donald Trump “has plenary authority”
It's our nature to think things are always bad, especially as we age, but actually, the world is in pretty good shape right now. There is a much higher percentage of people marked as middle class around the world than ever before, and that's astounding considering how many more people there are today. There are a higher percentage of democracies in the world today than ever before and lots of them are doing well. Wars are contained to hot spots. That's actually pretty good by the normal horrible standards of mankind. Our economy is, relatively speaking, pretty good. It's much better than the '70's when all the cities went broke. It's better than the .com bust of the 2000's. And it's way better than 2009-2011 and unlike much of the world, we had a very strong rebound after 2020. Look at all the investment in the cities. New York looks like a palace compared to when I moved there in 1982. And for having so many people struggling with inflation, those same people sure do buy a lot of stuff, travel, snd buy bigger houses than anyone in the '70s thought was possible. etc.- Donald Trump “has plenary authority”
It's an interesting point, for sure. I guess we will see.- Donald Trump “has plenary authority”
One historian agrees with you. He said fascism arose in Europe due to the economic uncertainty and fear caused by the Industrial Revolution coupled with the rise of Bolshevism. He claims today the technological revolution and the fear of islam/terrorism is causing the same effect in the West. So perhaps those forces are causing something similar.- Donald Trump “has plenary authority”
It's hard to compare the US and Nazi Germany, because the circumstances that allowed the Nazis to achieve power were very different than today in our country. The Germans were living in a time of unparalleled poverty, collapse of institutions, threats to the government by Communist elements and the humiliation imposed by the Allied powers. We are a very different story with a much more diverse mindset and our economy is strong. While Trump and his minions continue to subvert the law to achieve their goals, it is hard to imagine anything similar to the Nazis occurring in the country unless we suffer from some catastrophic event, like a disastrous war with China or a cataclysmic terrorist attack.- Coach Sark Press Conference 10.6 - 11:30am (LHN app or ESPN app)
