  1. It's usually the other way around. The schools without RNs are a lot more laxed. Districts with RNs typically go overboard on regulations because it's their licenses on the line, and they don't want to deal with it. Especially at the elementary level it's insane how many teachers just send a kid to the nurse for no reason. Not that they aren't qualified to hand out OTC, but before they can they have to know stuff they'd been given at home. It's just easier to get rid of that step because they aren't reaching many parents in a timely fashion. No school is passing out controlled substances like candy, but they may have severely lacking security measures. Plenty pass out OTC shit, but they shouldn't.
  2. Texas doesn't require school districts to have RNs on staff. They typically do (probably multiple) once they get big enough, but with no RN employed your district policies are going to vary.
  3. I think it was one of his first roles. I've actually only seen Critters 1 & 2. He probably killed it in 3. I've never seen the Man in the Iron Mask either, but judging by the lack of listing that as Leo's worst he was probably good in that as well.
  4. I don't know how well Carolina has been building their roster under Rhule, but I know they've botched the QB position. Do they have anything other than McCaffrey?
  5. I don't like Pratt, but the series is fine enough. I don't think Pratt is a good serious actor. Pratt is the bigger name, so it would never happen, but Taylor K in the lead role would be better. Have zero connection to the source material so maybe he's supposed to be a robot, but that's pretty much all he's shown himself capable of doing outside of comedic roles.
  6. Sucked in Critters 3 though.
  7. The perfect score just means he's the consensus overall #1 recruit across the sites. VY and Ewers are the only QBs to do that. I'm not even sure what rating sites were around in 02 for VY though. Everyone is misconstruing that to mean he's the highest rated player since VY. That's not necessarily the case. They only rate players within a class not across years. Being the consensus #1 only has meaning when the quality of your class is taken into context. Like the NFL draft. A #1 overall pick one year may have been a #6 the next year because there were more elite players that year.
  8. There's plenty of tards out there living kick ass lives.
  9. Blake with the voice of reason. Nobody can grasp that Quinn is gone in 2 seasons, and Arch isn't picking a school demanding to start as a true freshman.
  10. I live my life a quarter mile at a time.
  11. Can't disagree. We booked totally ignorant of the issue. It didn't ruin it for us, but it certainly makes me regret for paying for a beach resort with no beach. I'll definitely spend a few minutes researching next time.
  12. What is he hitting him with? I don't know what anyone would expect to be within reach of a mail slot. Plus that scenario would be my GSD wet dream of a scenario. A lot of risk and almost no reward possibilities with that tactic.
  13. I didn't realize that shit doesn't even biodegrade. What a pain in the ass. They had a tractor running all day our first day but even then all that did was make the beach walkable in the afternoon. The water was still was unswimmable.
  14. Just got back from Playa this past Friday. The sargassum is horrible. Talked to a couple that ferried over to Cozumel for the day and they said it was just as bad on that side as well. Like the poster said above plan on doing the cenotes or inlet parks if you want nice clear water.
  15. So we haven't actually won it yet? Thank God, there is still hope.
  16. You don't get it. Runner up is fine and appreciated, but winning it is over the line.
  17. He picks up a nursing shift every other week, so yeah.
  18. 13? I don't think I'd call that a yacht.
  19. We did one about 10 years ago and got rid of a bunch of baby toys and clothes. Those things sell fast and quick. Nothing big so it wasn't too difficult. But now we just post on a neighborhood marketplace site and someone will pick it up fast unless it's total junk. I can't imagine accumulating enough stuff to warrant a garage sale these days.
  20. I go to the office because I like browsing surly on the bigger monitors I have there. That to me is worth the commute.
