Post up some pics when this is done. Did you do the frame yourself? What about the awning? Sewing that yourself? I have a 10x20 patio that I’d like to cover but the adjoining wall is 2 story brick veneer so I’m thinking something more free standing. We put up an ez up at times but I’d like something a little more permanent.
Go take the one you want for a sea trial and see how it runs. You aren't gonna be blasting the tops of the waves at 45 knots in that thing anyway as it seems more like a drinks at the dock and an evening cruise around the lake type of boat.
Houston area is served by Centerpoint for your electrical transmission infrastructure from the grid to your house. Any outage in the infrastructure is handled by Centerpoint. The retail electrical provider (Green Mountain, Chariot, etc.) is basically a billing agent as far as you are concerned.
Winterizing a boat generally means removing any water in the cooling system that might freeze and getting conditioned/stabilized fuel in in the carbs/vst tank/fuel injection system, etc to prevent ethanol gumming and fuel breakdown. You could also change lower unit/transmission/engine oil so the drivetrain parts are sitting in new lube. Last, you could disconnect the battery or put on a battery maintainer to keep it charged.
For a wake boat you probably want to purge any water from the ballast system.
Anyone tried using a pressure washer to remove the stringy bark off of cedar poles before putting them up? I saw a thread on a forum where a guy built a big deck surround his home and use cedar poles he had stripped with a pressure washer. He hit the softwood with a sealer/stain and they looked pretty good.

Biscuits cooked outdoors in a camp dutch oven using coals from a fire are badass.
grease a pie pan, put in your biscuits and set the pan on top of 3 1/2” stainless steel nuts which act as a trivet inside the DO. If you get your coals right they turn out great.
The correct way to have frog legs is lightly fried with a yellow corn meal coating, served with eggs, biscuits and bacon next to the lake as the sun is coming up. This is, of course, after staying up all night drinking, catching and cleaning said frogs.
