That really was like a well put together documentary. Wouldn't be surprised if "Elephant Graveyard" is a collection of people who work in the film industry at some level and really take issue with Rogan becoming a fascist.
I used to catch some of his episodes back in the 2015 to 2017 or so time when I had to do long drives for work. It was just dumb guys doing silly talk mostly with occasional legit scientists like Roger Penrose or Sean Carroll promoting new books. I remember listening to that, I believe Halloween, episode where his friend Duncan warned him about becoming a pawn for dangerous rhetoric promoted by rich assholes who would appeal to his ego and greed.
I hadn't paid any attention to anything Rogan in years and was surprised to hear it went that direction and that guy who predicted it was right. But that guy also gave in to the greed and turned fascist himself just to stay in the Rogan loop.
All of this jumbled crap over the last decade has me really wondering if freedom of speech is mostly untenable in the 21st century technologically changed world. It's too dangerous when combined with the powerful communication tools found in social media, and it's why controlled narrative countries like China will have a big advantage going forward.
