  1. Vertical stripes are slimming. The horizontal ones like they have make you look fatter
  2. Johnson needs to watch film of Stephon Castle from last year at UCONN. Let the game come to you. Kid forces way too much.
  3. Putting your hopes on Moscow Mitch to do the right thing...
  4. Last couple of weeks before signing day so this is "stupid money" season when desperate teams throw out insane numbers?
  5. The elite 8 was a product of a veteran team trained by Beard. If this shit doesn't improve a ton quickly it's going to be a disastrous season. Too much sloppiness on the little things like setting screens and making proper cuts. If Syracuse loses this it's because they let one of the smallest guys on the court kill them on the offensive boards. Impressive heart from Weaver
  6. Freshman needs to settle down. Taking shit shots
  7. Gaetz looks like the exaggerated caricature drawing of an already goofy looking bastard. If the Republican senators have any balls left hidden up in there somewhere now is the time to put the screws to trump. He can't run for relection, and he can't take over the government unless they allow him to do it. Get a coalition of 4 to 6 senators and tell Trump he will do as they demand or they'll fuck everything he wants to do up. Once Trump isn't on ballots anymore the idiots who only vote for cult of personalities will lose interest and stay home.
  8. All the other Congress critters hate Gaetz. Not too surprising they would threaten to torpedo him. Hegseth the rapist has kissed their asses. That will be the true test if they will actually grow some semblance of a spine and stand up to trump madness... So yeah, Hegseth is getting in. Gabbard is the most damaging pick and no one is talking about it. USA intelligence community will be completely blind once she's in. Allies will withhold or give the US bullshit intel, and our own assets will flee to escape being burned. We'll be ripe for any type of terrorism imaginable.
  9. $300? try $89
  10. Great video from a good philosophy channel
  11. Bingo. We've made a list of big things we were needing to replace in the next 12 months. New mattress arrives in early December.
  12. That will be the final straw that makes me leave the cowboys fanbase for good. That's a giant piece of shit family to add to Jerry's piece of shit family. I'll be full on eagles fan if that happens
  13. Right after his piece of shit building almost killed someone pregame by having random sheets of metal peeling off the ceiling.
  14. I used that one for the Texans thread
  15. "You're welcome"
  16. Basically all Americans are about to know what it's felt like to be non white in America. The systems are there to oppress you, not to help you, and you have virtually zero recourse for being oppressed.
  17. He's correct. It's the final stages of the Anacyclosis. Once democracy leads to prosperity the subsequent generations only grew up with prosperity and become entitled and complacent. They don't have an appreciation for the freedoms and rights afforded to them that their ancestors suffered under tyranny to achieve. They then become aggrieved by the corruption and greed of leaders and fall victim to demagogues who promise the moon and deliver only poison (sound familiar?). That civilization then devolves into anarchy and the whole process starts again with authoritarianism once a strong man wins in the power vacuum. It's guaranteed to happen. The founders of the US Constitution based this government system on the writings of Polybius, an ancient Greek who was captured by the Romans during the height of the Roman Republic. He observed that Rome's hybrid system of Monarchy, Democracy, and Aristocracy seemed to have made it immune to the Anacyclosis. Our 3 branches of government with the checks and balances was directly lifted from Polybius' work and Rome's system. Of course as history shows Rome's system merely delayed the decline in Anacyclosis. It wasn't immune, and entitlement and complacency eventually led to demagogues like Julius Ceasar which led to destruction and a form of authoritarianism under the Emperors, beginning with Augustus. For the United States it was unchecked technology, and especially social media combined with smart phone technology, that became the vessel used by the corrupt leaders and enemies to usher in the demagogue phase of Anacyclosis. Trump is merely the first of the demagogues and we're heading towards anarchy. And there's absolutely nothing any of us can do about it at this point. Once demagoguery takes hold it's all over. My advice is to unplug and enjoy the good times you have left. Because things will only get progressively worse and more dysfunctional as the fall into anarchy commences. With any luck it'll take 30 years for that to happen. But I seriously doubt it.
  18. I don't remember that. I remember bad passes that Helm or a receiver couldn't get. Don't recall a straight drop that killed a drive.
  19. Outside of our game and 1 SEC game tonight this is the worst slate of matchups I've ever seen.
  20. Problem is it wasn't anything Arkansas did. Offensive line handled them. RBs (other than Blue fumble out of bounds) made plays WRs got open and no drops The only reason that wasn't a blow out in the first half again was Sark struggling to call against the 3 high again for some reason and Quinn being inaccurate.
  21. Greek gods were incredibly insecure and always fucking things up. We definitely don't want him feeling like Silenus.
