  1. How is he acting like anything? I have heard him talk one time and I live in Birmingham. I think he's just trying to put together a staff, retain as many players as possible, and retain as many recruits as possible.
  2. DeBoer is a good coach and we will be lucky to have him. It could have been a disaster. But things will never be the same. And that's okay. FYI people are genuinely losing their minds down here about the portal departures. It's crazy.
  3. I don't understand why everybody is upset. There is no "good time" to lose the best coach of all time. His leaving obviously has negative consequences for retention and recruiting. Furthermore, these kids went to Alabama mainly to play for and be developed by Saban. Once he left how can you possibly be upset at the player for making decisions in his own best interest? And by the way acting like a douche who is owed loyalty by students from all over the country will not be helpful for recruiting in the long run. Wish them well, thank them for their effort and loyalty, and go recruit your ass off and then kick off late August and let's play the fucking game.
  4. "Why didn't you get more?" "Because I had to hurry home to murder you."
  5. I don't even know what tech is
  6. As a lifelong Bama fan I have no problem with Bond leaving. He's a good one and I was fond of him and I wish him the best.
  7. Patton: "They're ivory. Only a pimp from a cheap New Orleans whorehouse would carry a pearl-handled pistol."
  8. Can’t help that we are both right
  9. With the compensator it basically does not recoil at all.
  10. In other news, I've posted here about trying to find a decent left-handed rifle for my son's first deer gun. I finally found one in time for xmas, when a dealer friend sold me this rifle in 7-08 and a Leupold scope for cost, bore sighted it, and threw in the rings for free. Smoking deal. https://christensenarms.com/mesa/ I really like this rifle. Took it to the range and it was sub-MOA out of the box. I see where Christensen quality is a little inconsistent, but this action and trigger are great. I think this will be a life-time gun for the guy.
  11. Regarding the one rifle approach we were discussing before the NRA news broke, .30-06 or .270 would be good for everything you want to do. I like the .270 because of its trajectory and terminal ballistics.
  12. That's simply not true, even if it's the conventional wisdom. NRA won Bruen. NRA and its state affiliates have their fingerprints on range, shooting, and hunting issues all over the country. And even with its current problems and mismanagement, the NRA is still the only organization that moves the needle at the federal legislative level. Other orgs have definitely caught up/surpassed NRA on litigation but one of the main reasons is that they are using old NRA lawyers so it's a continuation of the NRA strategy to some degree.
  13. Love the Yosemite Sam approach
  14. birds arent real
  15. You'd add Georgia to my list of Georgia, Alabama, Texas and Michigan?
  16. I think Texas makes it
  17. UGA has NFL talent at DL. Does Washington have NFl talent at OL?
  18. I think Michael Penis Jr. would die if he played Georgia.
  19. I mean take any candidate. Could Washington beat Texas? Georgia? Michigan? Alabama?
  20. I disagree. I think any of those four annihilates Washington
  21. Having watched all year it’s obvious to me the best four teams are (in no order) Texas, Georgia, Michigan and Alabama. Those four teams can compete with each other. Every other team is toast.
  22. Clean up, aisle six.
  23. Because the DJ is black?
  24. I think the bumper paint may be textured. If you want the smooth black of the original paint on the ARB the rustoleum black worked pretty well for me. I used sandpaper and then cleaned the spot first.
