  1. I tend to blackout from my eyes rolling all the way to the back of my head every time someone in sports broadcasting utters, "At the height of their powers."
  2. Bruh, you guys have been laying on the bed begging for it for 9 years. NOW you're questioning how it tastes?
  3. I mean, most of it is already out there. But, of course, since it's Trump, nobody cares.
  4. Seriously. It wasn't televised. No one's sharing a video that they took of a jumbotron showing two random boomers swaying to Clocks. Dumbasses.
  5. Hey man, let's not cast stones. As a 12 year old when AOL Instant Messenger launched, I was ready to believe someone's answer to a/s/l? without a second's hesitation.
  6. Hey Siri, how would a sitting President act and speak if he was 100% all over a known pedophile's client list? No Siri, that's too on the nose.
  7. This anti-American fat fuck has never drank a non-diet Coca Cola in his life, much less one from Mexico.
  8. Yep, it's been said before but, once you realize that America is chock full of pro wrestling fans (sub in reality shows for those that don't actually watch wrestling), it all makes perfect god-damned sense. The storylines don't have to make any sense. In fact, the crazier they are the better. They crave the drama. If Trump decides tomorrow that JD Vance is a heel, he'll be dropped like a sack of potatoes and reviled instantly. Everything Trump does, as the perpetual face, is virtuous and just. He's Stone Could Steve Austin sticking up his middle fingers to the establishment. His enemies are detestable cheaters. The shittiest part is that they realize the absurdity of it all and just don't care.
  9. Honestly, Bradley Beal completing his career without being a Clipper at some point would have been an injustice.
  10. While I like and, in some ways, share the sentiment, the band would have been a lot more pissed off and worried if their kids were also on the boat.
  11. Where do I send my application to perform extremely basic grammar and spelling checks on all of these Amazon product listings? A little clean-up, and I could trick bored wives that they're buying actual quality merchandise and not blatantly knock-off crap. Gotta think I could make a killing. I'm just kidding. No one cares if it's absolute junk so long as it costs $3 less than the name brand.
  12. Any plan that doesn't involve waking up everyone in camp and getting them in shoes and jackets and ready to move--even if they initially stay in their cabins--and immediately sending an adult with a radio to monitor the river is a shit ass plan.
  13. Maddening. If it's your own family, you can allow complacency to kick in and make the decision that it's "just another alert on the river". You don't get that luxury when you're responsible for hundreds of other people's kids.
  14. If absolutely nothing else, sirens wake everyone the hell up and are a blaring declaration that this isn't just another flash flood warning on your cell phone (for those that have them) that probably doesn't directly affect you. It screams local. At minimum, it gets people moving, gets eyes on the river, with precautionary measures being taken. There's no world that sirens wouldn't have saved dozens of lives.
  15. What point do you think you're making here?
  16. I get that it seems like nothing matters anymore, and norms and precedents don't exist or are for losers, but a President's administration unilaterally deciding to release names and evidence from an ongoing, unresolved investigation didn't used to be a thing. It's not legal, in fact. Even if it could hurt your political rivals.
  17. Right wing comedy at its finest!
  18. Your friends are liars. They'd vote for a convicted pedophile Trump over a radical left Marxist socialist communist. They'd just scrunch their nose a bit to feel okay about it. For the good of the country, after all.
  19. The mental gymnastics here. Wow.
  20. Some people really like thumbs.
  21. While this is "fun" (as fun as a sitting POTUS all but admitting he's a pedophile can be) and will certainly have more staying power than the usual Trump crime/cover-up, anyone thinking that this is what breaks MAGA and finally turns the tide against him is crazy. Fox and regime-friendly podcasters are struggling to find their footing at the moment, but give them a couple weeks to figure out their talking points, and everyone will be back on program.
  22. A lot to unpack with this one.
  23. Steve Kerr: having personal vendettas against young players, then trading them way past their peak worth since 2014.
