  1. When Harvey hit Houston, I ended up with some water in my gun safe and had to take a couple of rifles to a gunsmith. I ended up finding one via google looking for one with the best collection of reviews. He did a good job cleaning the guns up and installing new scopes. As for the range, I would look for a 100 yard range to start. I always sight-in at 100 and then work on longer distances.
  2. Anyone who actually endorses Cruz is a World-Class Ditch Pig!
  3. Weird and stupid is no way to live.
  4. What would it take for her to wear an Allred shirt and try to get the vote out in Houston and Dallas?
  5. I’ve heard this story before.
  6. Or how about the candidate who referred to his daughter as a “great piece of ass”?
  7. Need a good AB from Jake here
  8. WTF? That was basically on a tee for him. I hate watching the 2024 Astros.
  9. What a horrible AB from Dubon!
  10. That’s why I believe there is money to made on days like today. The markets are efficient but only on the longer term.
  11. Which are the strong companies getting trashed today? I just sold some puts on META and PFE this morning. Can anyone explain why large cap oil and gas midstream companies are down 3% as a group? Are we really going to use less energy in the next 5 years?
  12. I’m still pissed we didn’t try to replace Singleton in the offseason and we haven’t played Caratini at 1B once this season.
  13. I really hate that Mickey Mouse stadium some nights.
  14. That makes sense. He was always a moron.
  15. Who’s the fucking dumbass in the Fox booth?
  16. He beat it but came off the bag.
  17. Yep - I've been buying BLV since February based on the assumption that declining rates would have a more significant impact on the long-end of the curve.
  18. or said differently, it may not be a great idea to hold bond funds in a period of extremely low interest rates. The yield on the fund sucks and there is the risk of capital loss when rates go up. Unfortunately, this was an expensive lesson for me.
  19. Lucky for us they didn’t throw Singleton a third slider.
  20. How many people has Trump murdered?
  21. That’s crazy. We actually had lunch there last weekend. With both Porkys and Alamo Springs closed, that only leaves Pecan Grove for a great burger.
  22. Chevron already has 7,000 employees in Houston and 2,000 in San Ramon. No idea how much excess space they have in downtown as they have offices in the old Enron building. Also, I think the corporate employees may work from home either 2 or 3 days per week.
