  1. Besides believing Cam has a lot of potential if given more minutes, I looked at him as a low cost option to grab a bunch of buckets in games when KD is hurt or load managing. I’d rather have him than the two 2nds.
  2. It’s not that the “political” statements/opinions aren’t accurate, it’s more that a handful of posters are making these same points over and again two or three times per page while the majority of people reading this thread are here for updates.
  3. Driving that crane, high on cocaine, Lerry Gnoli you better watch your speed.
  4. You have phenomenal mirror game.
  5. Really? Ime hates Cam that much that we'd give him away for nothing just to get his salary off the books?
  6. Nice report on drownings from Davy Jones.
  7. Free agent forward Dorian Finney-Smith has agreed to a four-year, $53 million deal with the Houston Rockets, sources told ESPN's Shams Charania. Free agent guard Ty Jerome has agreed to a three-year, $28 million deal with the Memphis Grizzlies, with a player option in Year 3, sources told ESPN's Shams Charania. Free agent Gary Trent Jr. agreed to a two-year, $7.5 million deal with a player option to return to the Milwaukee Bucks, sources told ESPN's Shams Charania. So we could've signed both Ty Jerome and Gary Trent Jr. for less than DFS cost us?
  8. Ty Jerome is 5 years younger, plays guard, a better shooter, and scored 4 more ppg than DFS.
  9. Ahsoka was fine. Nowhere near Andor, but I still enjoyed the content and am not angry they made it (like say, most of the sequel trilogy or Acolyte). It will be interesting to see how the Mando movie and Ahsoka S2 weave their stories (Thrawn, Moff Gideon, what happened to Ahsoka, Grogu, and Ezra prior to Ep. 7) into the First Order era.
  10. Addition by subtraction of Montero and Pressly?
  11. Need to balance it out with their 7 starters that play SG.
  12. Then take that money and sign free agent Kyle Tucker, trade Pena for more good prospects, sign another SS that bats 0.270 in his career that doesn't demand $30m/yr.
  13. I can't believe they don't do Citronaut throwbacks once a year. The UCF baseball and softball teams have Citronaut alternates.
  14. Me in Section 416 after three $20 beers: It was my first $1 dog night in forever. I LOL'd at the chili and cheese upgrades...$3.19 each (chili or cheese) on a $1 hot dog. Gotta pay Christian Walker somehow.
  15. Went to the game tonight and sat up in the 400s with my kids and the poors. It felt like the temperature and humidity were both >85. I thought Daiken has the air conditioners? Lucky to come away with a win though. Suarez was slinging it and has to be pissed he lost on one swing of a Hummel bat.
  16. This was the high point until the Twin Suns episode [disclaimer: I’m the type of Star Wars nerd who appreciates Jedi and lightsabers]
  17. Funny, my wife was pro-Read/anti-cop but after listening to her speak on the documentary, now thinks she probably did it (accidentally, and may not 100% know she did it because she was drunk). I agree there's way too much shady business by all the cops. Wife's family lives near her house and we did a showing tour in August when Read put it on the market. So this all hits very close to (almost) home.
  18. Is there an opportunity to upgrade over FVV? Shröder? D’Angelo Russell? They better not extend him at higher than $25m/yr.
  19. Swinging big for a star has consequences. I guess they have a finals appearance to show for it 🤷‍♂️
  20. Similar to retrospectively analyzing the Deshaun Watson trade, I took a peek at the James Harden trade to see how it stands today: Rockets received: 2021 pick swap - Not utilized 2022 #17 pick - Tari Eason 2022 Miami pick swap for Oladipo - Not utilized 2023 pick swap - Not utilized 2024 #3 pick - Reed Sheppard 2025 pick swap - traded back to Nets 2026 FRP - traded back to Nets From second Nets trade: 2025 Suns pick swap (#10) - traded back to Suns 2027 Suns FRP 2029 pick swap with best of Suns/Mavs So the net transaction thus far is: James Harden, Jalen Green, and Dillon Brooks, for Tari Eason, Reed Sheppard, KD, 2027 Suns pick, 2029 swap with Suns or Mavs
  21. He did get to play in exciting BCS games against USC (lost 55-19) and Boise State (lol trick plays game, lost 43-42). He got his revenge on Mack by going 1-2 vs. Texas with his team scoring 34 total points in those games.
  22. Both. Who will hold out the longest in the negotiation? SA and Houston are hardballing Phoenix, as they should. Jalen (based on potential and being former #2 pick with flashes of scoring prowess) and #10 pick is probably fair, with the winner of the trade being mainly determined by KD's health. That offer is still better than what SA is offering, and anything more than that could end up being a terrible trade for Houston. SA has been so damn lucky with the lottery they can afford to pay a little more and still have good short term and long term outlook.
  23. Agreed that it's unbelievable the Empire would send Dedra to prison where she will get more enraged and has valuable intel she could dispel to anyone. It would've been nearly impossible to imprison every employee on Scariff and was easier to just nuke them all and the evidence. [Rogue One criticism] I find it hard to believe the Empire kept no backup copies of project plans anywhere else. Later on they enacted several of those, like cloning/resurrecting Palpatine and the tracking ships at light speed. Scariff may have been the easiest place for the rebels to get the Death Star plans in a surprise attack, but the plans had to exist elsewhere. Hell, they started building its replacement immediately.
