  1. Episode II was approximately 22 years BBY (before the battle of Yavin IV). Boba was maybe 10-14 years old? ROTJ when Boba goes into the pit is around 4 ABY, so he’s 36-40 years old then? The Mandalorian and BOBF occur around 10 ABY so Boba is early 40s. I guess they didn’t have a lot of choice in casting a 61 year old since we already know the face and voice he was supposed to have.
  2. They need to tap the brakes on all this winning. It may be time to bring Wall in from the bullpen.
  3. Was it his stupid ass goggles while rocking a jerri curl?
  4. Saturday night ESPN college football announcing peaked here, then along came Holly Rowe to take offense at being called “sweetheart” years before @Uncle Boobs would state his desire to munch her chubby clam.
  5. Vegas was pretty dead this past weekend, at least compared to how it was in July. No waits at restaurants or for Ubers. We had dinner Thursday at Amalfi, Bobby Flay’s new Italian seafood restaurant in Caesars. It was great. The fried mixed shellfish and charred octopus appetizers were delicious. Our main courses were both tasty: squid ink fettuccine and the Scialatielli. We did the caramel espresso tiramisu and blood orange cheesecake. No food was left behind.
  6. Maybe, but his money/math people are supposed to be advising him how much to bet as a hedge based on how much furniture he sold under a promotion.
  7. Sugar Land Express (not trolling yall Round Rock, just showing love to our Ken Hall back home!)
  8. Musberger spent time in Norman county jail one August?
  9. Can’t we all just point and laugh at Green Bay taking Tony Mandarich in a top 5 that also included Aikman, Barry Sanders, Deion Sanders, and Derrick Thomas?
  10. This Ron Woodson guy must have been quite the player. Good call on Aeneas Williams, or as Pat Summerall referred to him, “Anus” Williams.
  11. This was one of the names that the trademark troll jumped on without true intention of operating his own professional football team. We should not negotiate with these types as if they were terrorists.
  12. I didn’t realize that Mel Blount’s grandson posted here. The Revis posts are kinda LOL. All these other guys were shutdown guys for a decade or longer. Revis and “Revis Island” was a think for about 2.5 seasons then he fell back into the pack. Who remembers when Nnamdi Asomugha was regarded as the baddest DB in forever and the he signed with the “dream team” Eagles and disappeared.
  13. I can see it play out. Deshaun comes back, Texans trade Davis Mills for a second rounder, then Deshaun demands a trade or hand job again.
  14. Is there any way carpet bagger George P Bush can be blamed for both this and moving the Alamo epitaph?
  15. I thought you worked down at the thrift shop?
  16. They originally said names including Redtails, RedHawks, Redwolves, and Warriors were out because some douchebag trademark troll claimed them the day they announced they were dropping Redskins. Since the guy has no intention of operating a professional football team under that name, and WFT is in freaking Washington DC, somebody would tell trademark troll to fuck himself. They put military stars on the teaser logo and the neckline of the jersey. Strong rumor that the name will be Admirals.
  17. If they don’t already have a new coach lined up, why fire Culley now? Oh yeah, Texans. We’ll what retread they come up with when we’re left with our ducks hanging in the wind.
  18. I don’t agree that NIL will cause parity or level the playing field, unless we are only looking through burnt orange glasses. Bag men, especially in the South, has been a thing forever but it really wasn’t until the Saban era that SEC got anointed as junior NFL by ESPN and talking heads, and we got 15 years of Bama and sporadic highs by Georgia, LSU, Auburn, and Florida. Saban will eventually die or retire, and maybe ESPN will realize they shouldn’t inadvertently squash the other conferences. NIL will be great for programs with unlimited donor and sponsor money, like Texas. It won’t be great for the bottom 2/3 of most conferences. College football was fun with underdogs pulling upsets on the reg, and never knowing who a year’s Cinderella would be. The future could be a perpetual playoff of the blue bloods.
  19. Is Edelman healthy? Waddle just signed with the Rams, why not reunite Edelman with Brady and Gronk?
