  1. Sounds like cooler heads are prevailing
  2. Ewers improved, still sore, has a pretty good game. Either Blue or Robinson, or both, begin their emergence. Baxter has a few decent runs, but somewhat forgetable. Defense shines in first half, holds Cyclones to total of 24. We put up 38.
  3. Brooks can overcome this. Didn't Priest Holmes have a fairly serious injury before going to the pros - then went on to become one of the greatest runners in pro history. Just check out the titles of the vids available on YouTube https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=priest+holmes+highlights+ Go get 'em JB!
  4. Sick, yet twisted.
  5. We need someone who can challenge Dak the way Dowdle is about to challenge Pollard (i.e., push him out of the job)
  6. Rush is a fucking dumpster fire.
  7. That hit brought home a good point. Yes Dak needs reps, but so does his backup. This would be one of the few times when we have a decent lead...
  8. Don't runners stiff-arm anymore? Seems both Dorsett and Emmett Smith had stiff-arms that would knock the shit out of d-backs
  9. Nice to see these bastards not taking their feet off the gas
  10. He's showing us something.
  11. Our motto: There's no team whose level can't be sunk to...
  12. A lot of times, after a run like that, they'll give the same back a shot at driving it home
  13. The new and improved Cowboys
  14. Dowdle = Pollard before his injury
  15. Didn't plan on receiver dropping TD pass...
  16. Shoulda let him score. I'd rather take my chances with Stroud and two minutes. They're gonna lose this one.
  17. Ewers wasn't "scared" of getting hit. No doubt he was aware of the consequences, but more likely than not, Sark gave him STRICT instructions not to run around waiting for something to develop, and not to run at all if possible. And throw the ball away at the first sign of trouble. They weren't taking any chances, and that's exactly what they should have done. In two weeks, he might ease up on those restrictions.
  18. Not sure I like coaches telling players to "have fun" right before a big game. Seems Sark was caught on camera walking the field a week or two back (in his white pajamas) saying that to someone. I'd prefer the message be something like "Bring me some spines."
  19. I think the Horns, on the cusp of winning the conference, will come out breathing fire. The first half will look a lot like last nite's. We will probably improve on that performance. There might be a slight let down in the second, but look for a healthier Ewers to step up and look for Sark to discover a few new wrinkles that keep us up by two to four TDs. Get healthy, Horns! Definitely need more pics of hit cheerleaders.
  20. Any decent college coach (any pro coach) would have re-punted that ball. Scared of getting blocked??? WTF is that? Any decent team can pin that ball inside the fifteen. Maybe you get lucky and pin them at the five. We gave them the ball at the 25 yard line.
  21. Baxter is too fucking slow. He won't be the starter next year.
  22. Sister said she saw Ewers on the bench with his left hand under the shoulder pad working on that shoulder
  23. Yeah, the NFL's gotta be salivating over him. #1 pick for sure.
