  1. Even with Option 3 I don’t think it’s final. The plan is that someone would reach out to discuss options in mid August. I bet a lot is changed by then. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. I don't think you lose priority seating for 2021... or do you mean you don't fall farther back in line? I'll consider rolling just my donation portion over to jump up a bit in priority points but before I do would be nice to know where it gets me. E.g. If I move from 6K in line to 5K how much better do my TX/OU seats get?
  3. Hard to believe that is the required capacity with current cases here in Austin. We have to stay 6 ft from anyone but anyone sitting 1 seat away in the stadium or those sitting in front of behind would only be 1-2 feet away. Not to mention 50% capacity while everyone is sitting still means shoulder to shoulder packed when arriving/leaving or getting concessions. A very big concern now that I'm stuck at home with the entire family day and night.
  4. Agree! Mark me down as another satisfied repeat customer. Thanks to Phil, Thad and Danna for helping me take advantage of these great rates and locking in some serious savings.
  5. And when you select Option 3 you get to further refine your reasons. It says you will be contacted by someone in mid-Aug from the University to discuss. I plan to: Remain a part of the 2020 reseating process, but give my season tickets to someone else. Remain a part of the 2020 reseating process, but resell my season tickets. Opt out of the 2020 reseating process and my 2020 season tickets completely. In making a decision about attending home games, I am concerned about: XXX
  6. It's 5x the normal seat related gift points but only 2x the amount of points you would get for giving a donation and not getting seats in return (which this would be).
  7. I guess I am just going to opt out at this point and go the refund route... no reason to keep dragging out hopes for a real season.
  8. I would not have put Trinity Forest as #6 on that list... I prefer AGC. I have not played WF so might have to make that happen soon to see for myself.
  9. No but there is a secret forum for Texas residents
  10. I get that the curriculum may differ a bit but what other than that distuinguishes Daycares from Private School that would fall under the new Abbot / county orders?
  11. ACC has about 800 golfing members so it's a real whip with only having 1 course. Sure it's nice but if you are farther out West AGC is really special too. The high end courses in Dallas are more expensive than similar ones in Austin but there are way more to choose from so there are plenty in all types of price ranges.
  12. And all of a sudden the "daycares" that classified themselves as Pre K school are probably rethinking that right now
  13. Per a realtor I just talked to the inventory in Austin is less than 1 month which is making things move really fast. My neighbor's house was listed last Thur and same day he had 2 offers. Talked to the person buying it and they had already lost 5 previously to higher bidders.
  14. Yet, that’s the plan for professional sports. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. How many hills are you going to climb and how far are you going? I have the Xiaomi one mentioned above and it's been fine... Could use a little more power on steeper hills but it get's the job done for the most part and easier to carry. You can lock it from the app which does not keep someone from carrying it away but does keep someone from riding off on it. One thing you want to decide on is the tires... mine has air which means they can go flat but on the flip side it absorbs shock a bit better. I have a friend with the Unagi and he really like that one despite it being quite a bit more expensive.
  16. I normally just turn on Disney+ in Spanish to feel better about the learning opportunity I'm providing. In all seriousness though I'm not sure how you can adequately navigate the current situation. I'm not for kids missing out on a year of proper education and instead trying to unnaturally force things to happen online but I totally understand the risks of putting kids in classes to parents, teachers and friends. I really don't think (especially at the younger grades) limiting capacity will do that much good since kids are inherently nasty and will spread this things to each other, then they will take it home. And if you are not allowing them to be in class M-F then the days they are home their will be even more exposure since they are going to team up with a different set of kids in learning pods or go to some other child care situation.
  17. $NKLA up 41% today... now that’s Stonk! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Are you guys buying? I've got 10K share chunks out there for you to come get.
  19. Finished product looks great and has a really nice smoke ring. You didn't wrap at all? What type of fuel did you use?
  20. Tell me once you figure it out. I added more $NKLA yesterday as well and just keep watching $ALPP
  21. All those cities you mentioned are much more expensive to live in than Austin...
  22. $NKLA having a wild week right now. Up 25% today.
  23. I really meant that to be you are just trying to play and don't care who you are playing with. Post COVID our tee sheets are pretty full during the week but before that there were lots of tee times that no one was playing and you could go out on your own.
  24. You don't join a golf club because it makes sense financially. But if you are really just planning on going out and playing solo then you are probably correct in not joining. If you appreciate getting to know a group of golfers, being active in an MGA, playing the tournaments or enjoy the adult activities they have then it becomes a lot more interesting.
