  1. No doubt this is a big time cost savings for them. I like the idea of mobile tickets as an option but I still want the flexibility of paper ones for many of the reasons mentioned above (lack of service at game time leading to issue transferring tickets) Just as frustrating for me is getting an email with a link to download season tickets? Might as well just buy them off StubHub at this point.
  2. donde?
  3. Was it pretty simple to just switch the wires from the old unit to this one?
  4. I didn't pick one up since the 4th this year will be just us and a whole packer is too much to eat... but I'm regretting that decision now since I passed on a Memorial Day brisket and opted for a pork butt. Perhaps I'll go back and grab one.
  5. Fyi, went by HEB off 7th yesterday and they had Prime 1 briskets on sale for about $4.5 / lb... which is about the same price as the choice they had on the other shelf?!?
  6. Nacogdoches talk not going away
  7. From the article posted above so I think over the weekend. Honestly! At least the ones under I35 and 7th are placed neatly in a row.
  8. That's what I'm hoping for as well... They have an alternate date in August for COVID reasons but have yet to say they are going to postpone. I'm trying to avoid any family drama over skipping if they do have it in July.
  9. My nephew has a wedding scheduled at the end of July and at this point I'm skipping. Since it's at a church the restrictions at the state level have no impact on this correct?
  10. I don't think I have any pics but fired up the grill on Friday to chargrill a few dozen oysters I got from Quality. Took the Weber to around 600, shucked them and placed on the grill, added a nice dollop of butter, garlic, chives, etc. Then sprinkled with some shaved Parmesan before taking off to devour. First time turned out well.
  11. Very nice
  12. I've been looking at ABCmouse.com which is online learning for ages 2-8 (and they also have Adventure Academy for 8-13)... might try it out this summer for my 4 year old and see how it does.
  13. Well this makes me feel a little better about how shitty downtown Austin right now
  14. Wow, just looked up where this is... is this from all the summer beach goers? I rented a house just up the cost from there in early August... was planning on packing in all my food versus going to any restaurants but damn.
  15. MEWN IT... I could use a better run for $WORK... I would have thought retracing some steps and WFH should be helpful.
  16. I'd ask to see the ROI on that 41B before deciding whether we should fund more or reduce. I'm sure there are lots of other impactful ways of spending the 99%
  17. $41B last year in funding.
  18. Decent shower going on in the Downtown area. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. I think $BYND upside is limited in the short term but still a decent long term hold. I sold about half of mine and letting the rest ride for now. I have not found much else that I really want to invest in at this point.
  20. I guess I could elaborate more by saying it's very unlikely that this is fully controlled until herd immunity and/or vaccine which is probably unlikely until 2021. Yes, we starting opening in May but my point is we had to start re-opening eventually and when we did case were going to spike. We can debate the speed at which we opened but some reopening needed to happen.
  21. I really doubt anyones wife(even those that work) are too busy to gripe.
  22. We could have waited until June or July and we would still be right here just a few months later... this isn't going away, isn't the goal just to contain as much as possible within reason? I do find it funny that mandating masks at the state level is such a trigger event for everyone.
  23. Early Fathers Day gift from the wife. She found it at a Twin in Austin. Yep, it’s a 1.75! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Was just wondering if a thread like this was started yet. Watching closely for sure as our PreSchool was cancelled once this hit and we have not gone back. However in August both kids would be in the program however if they stay home that going to be a big inconvenience for sure as we are both still working from home. I think both our offices are saying we don't go back in until at least 2021 but kids at home is not good on productivity as many of you know. And I don't even want to get started on the tuition I'm paying for BS "online learning"
