So now we need to dedicate law enforcement to patrolling stores and handing out tickets? That does not sound like the best use of their time to me. By my experience the majority of people in every store I've been in are wearing masks. (Yet we are at higher levels than when no one was wearing masks) How are you going to convince people to put all this effort into mandating masks across the state and find some way of enforcement. I'm fine for leaving it to the individual establishments to require a mask and ask people to leave if they don't comply.
If there are a few people not wearing masks in Home Depot do that really significantly increase someone else's chance of contracting COVID (that is taking the precautions of masks and hand washing) to the point that we should be thinking about mandating it?
We have slowed the spread, flattened the curve and our hospitals are not being overrun. Are some of you really in favor of shutting everything down again?
