  1. This show wrapped up last night. I actively disliked The Big Bang Theory and the namesake character from that series, but I gave this a shot and was surprised how much I enjoyed it, especially for a network comedy.

Is there a reason UConn isn't MAC for football only?

Because the MAC sucks and provides less exposure than an independent schedule would? I'm sure they'd take being in the American for football-only, but I don't think that offer has ever been extended.

how was your trip (aside from the ass kicking)? we lost in OT when i went, but we still had a blast. something unique about the Phog is that it has ~the same number of seats as the FEC, no upper deck, and no AC. the sun was shining and the weather was beautiful when we walked in. it got hotter than shit while we were in there with the lack of AC and the giant windows just blasting you with sun. then when we left after the senior day festivities it was like 40 degrees and 35 mph winds. defintely a unique game day experience.

It was great (aside from the ass kicking). Definitely the best basketball experience I've ever been a part of. Really cool history and aside from a hand full of Horns down, fans mostly polite and welcoming. No confrontations whatsoever. Reminded me a lot of the Notre Dame football game in '15. I knew we had a down year then, but didn't want to miss would could've been my last chance to see us play at an iconic location. I won't be in a hurry to see us at Rupp until this program gets its shit together.

Think the horse is out of the barn with Big 10 and SEC expansion and mega-contracts, but this is Chip Kelly's proposal to partly put the Genie back in the bottle.  4 sixteen team regional conferences each with 8 team divisions in one TV contract but in a separation from the rest of FBS who would be in a separate 4X16 group and TV contract.

Ooh, I'll play. Using March Madness regional names...

I like playing on Friday after Thanksgiving but Saturday would be ok.  I really hope we don't go back to Thanksgiving day.

So much for the asinine texags theory that they would keep playing lsu on Thanksgiving weekend.

With the exception of the usually-irrelevant Egg Bowl, I think college football has now fully surrendered Thanksgiving Day (and night) to the NFL.

I don’t really remember what happened in 1994 when the SEC split into divisions,  but Saban has certainly been complaining about possibly having to play Tennessee, Auburn, and LSU every year going forward.

I would too. Bama's permanent three should be more like Auburn, Tennessee, and Miss. State instead.

Yup, the new 12 is perfectly set up for everyone to have the same 3 annual games. Won’t call them pods because that term has been beat up over time, but basically pods.

UU, BYU, AU, ASU - West/Mountains

CU, KU, KSU, ISU - Old Big 8

Tech, TCU, BU, OSU - Old Big XII South (+ TCU)

Cincy, UCF, WVU, UH - Old AAC + Geography + Holgy

Nine game schedule, 3+2+2+2. A four year player could expect to play everyone in the conference during their career.

This is the correct answer. Houston kinda gets screwed, but they're lucky to have a seat to begin with. Plus, they only joined the SWC in the '70s.

  8. Bottoms. A teen sex comedy geared toward much more toward girls and folks in the LGBTQetc community (so I'm not exactly in their target demo), but the absurd plot and well-timed one-liners had me laughing out loud several different times.
