  1. Younger brother of former Longhorn grad transfer Parker Braun.
  2. Here's the video (which I hadn't seen this angle before). There is contact from Cook's arm to the helmet, but no helmet-to-helmet contact at all. Now, I have no idea what is actually targeting in 2022. I'm not sure anybody does. But if the definition is helmet-to-helmet, then this isn't it.
  3. They actually won the bye week, and are petitioning the SEC to adjust their record to 4-3.
  4. 2018-2019 Freshman 2019-2020 Soph 2020-2021 Junior 2021-2022 Senior
  5. It would be hilarious if Weigman doesn't play at all this year - then Jimbo doesn't sign a portal qb transfer after he convinces himself that Weigman is the program savior. And then Weigman turns out to be shitty, and they don't have any other options.
  6. Eh, I forgot that Day 1 of the NFL draft is now just the first round. I could see him moving up to the second round with a great season.
  7. Of the guys on this list that I didn't mention, Jacoby Jones and Jordon Thomas are gone. Bayouth is a walkon (TE?). Goram-Welch is on trapdoor watch. Bush is (hopefully) graduating. Swanson and Sorrell are DEs, along with Finkley, Tapp, Brown, and Burke. I'll let somebody else decide who amongst these is likely to be a Buck and who is a Jack. I feel a lot better about DT than I do Edge.
  8. Head case? Not necessarily in the sense you're talking about, but Roy was known to be eccentric. Here's an article from back in the day: https://www.espn.com/magazine/vol4no21texas.html
  9. Start with begging Ojomo to come back for a Covid year and try to be a day 1 draft pick , and hope Murphy continues his ascent. Then toss Broughton, Bryant, Collins, K Ross, and Bledsoe out there and hope one or two of them have an improvement like we've seen from Sweat/Ojomo/Coburn this year. Then try to grab 1 or 2 Juco DTs that can contribute immediately. Likely will be quite a few prayers needed as well.
  10. Who knows with Stowers? I get the impression he sucks at both positions, so it's just a question of which scout team position needs a warm body on a given week. Brooks - I can see them giving him a try on offense, where they are in desperate need of playmakers. Brooks may be able to give them some juice offensively, even if his best long-term position is on defense.
  11. Don't forget about: TE - Eli Stowers, converted QB. RB - Dalton Brooks, who is probably the best player in the state (other than TJ Shanahan)
  12. Ummm.... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1998_Tennessee_Volunteers_football_team
  13. I took this picture on I-35 . I guess somebody thinks they can try to shame us into scheduling Tech?
  14. He just missed the punctuation. He meant to say "No way! Vasek won't be an upgrade as a passrusher at the Jack EDGE postion over Sorrell".
  15. I don't have a PFF subscription. But if you want to report back with all of the portal transfer Olinemen with a higher PFF grade than Cole Hutson, then go for it. Otherwise, I'll just assume he's been better than any of the scrubs that were in the portal.
  16. Seems fairly decent to me... Pass blocking grades vs ISU Kelvin Banks Jr. (LT): 88.0 Cole Hutson (RG): 85.7 Jake Majors (C): 83.3 Bijan Robinson (RB): 76.6 Roschon Johnson (RB): 76.4 Pass blocking grades vs WVU Roschon Johnson (RB): 78.3 Cole Hutson (RG): 74.4 Jake Majors (C): 74.3 Hayden Conner (LG): 71.4 Gunnar Helm (TE): 70.7 Pass blocking grades vs Alabama Christian Jones (RT): 77.6 Cole Hutson (RG): 77.2 Kelvin Banks (LT): 76.8 Ja’Tavion Sanders (TE): 74.8 Gunnar Helm (TE): 68.6
  17. Umm, I hate to break it to them, but programs like Ole Miss and Tennessee were (and have always been) superior to aggy. Aggy claims three national titles, only one of which is valid. Ole Miss claims three, one of which is valid. Ole Miss's title happened in 1960, two decades more recent than aggy. Tennessee claims 6 national titles, 2 valid and 2 pretty reasonably valid. The most recent was in 1998. Tennessee is #11 in all-time wins. Aggy is #25.
  18. This can't be true. I was told that not taking a bunch of OL from the portal was a yuge mistake and that playing a true freshmen on the OL was going to be a Hindenburg-level disaster.
  19. Doesn't even pretend to sell the route. Just kinda weaves once or twice before blowing past the db. Still want.
  20. I just assumed VY Steakhouse would be comp'ing the meal
  21. He blew out his knee as a Junior, and had 0 major suitors until late in his senior year.
  22. Maybe Lebby was planning all week with the assumption "Hey, we're OU. Of course we are going to throw the concussed qb out there. " But then found out Saturday morning that Gabriel refused to play?
