  1. Is this for Austin or Houston? Am I a woman or a man? Am I old or young?
  2. Not in the market for a Bronco but this looks pretty sweet for those who do buy one. It's out at HSB. https://finance.yahoo.com/news/ford-bronco-orderers-bronco-sport-100000130.html
  3. Thanks for the input. Will check them out then. I feel like a newb since I haven’t done Vegas in awhile.
  4. Not sure if this has been mentioned in this thread but Palmaz is fantastic and the tour might be as good as the wine. I don't think Caldwell's wine is as good as Palmaz but the story/experience is pretty cool.
  5. Ended up doing the a tower suite at the Encore. For shows, booking Absinthe and O, any others I should consider? I didn't see anyone cool people for residence at the beginning of October unless I am missing something. For restaurants, doing Bouchon for brunch one day and have them working on Wolfgang Pucks, Hell's Kitchen, Joel Robuchon, Guy Savoy and Le Cirque. Any of these I should skip and replace with something else?
  6. I am about 7-0. Almost all traffic shit for families. Best was my niece got a DWI. Cop pulled her over after leaving Whataburger at 2am (shocker). Had her dead to rights in a video, forget what she below, went to jail yada yada. She was 17 at the time. I was still in law school but trying to help. I go talk to the DA, start idle chit chat, find out he went to UT undergrad and my same law school. I took my position that I am not going to argue she did or did not do this but she wants to go to college, doesn't want this on her record, this is her first offense and she would learn much more by getting a shit ton of community service. He agreed and dropped to "obstruction of highway or passageway" and I thought I was a badass (learned later this is synonymous for a DWI pretty much and probably should have pleaded for a class A and think he would have agreed). So, get done with that, DA turns to my niece and asks "so, where do you want to go to school". Her response: "A&M". I think I actually slapped my forehead. /CSB
  7. How did it finish? I got to the part where it was pretty clear the OP got hosed and the boats suck (maybe page 15) but other things popped up.
  8. I agree and that’s probably what we will do baring any Amex tricks. I love the Bellagio since that’s the place I started the first time I went to Vegas and learned how to gamble. But, it still looks pretty outdated. That sounds awesome. Would love to watch that cocky little fuck fight.
  9. I checked that one out and the wraparound but wife wasn’t into the Cosmo. There is a lanai at the mirage that she liked but don’t see how to book that. I am going to turn this and the show bookings over to AMEX now and let them earn their money. But, looks like it’s between the Bellagio or Encore unless AMEX comes up with some trick. Will definitely do the two shows you guys recommended.
  10. I’m going to dig into the Bellagio a little more. It used to be my favorite but was concerned it is getting dated.
  11. Thanks. Will book Absinthe and Bouchon for sure. Will try to narrow down meal types. Checked out Aria and didn’t really fall in love with anything. The Cosmo wraparound and bungalow look pretty cool so will add those to the list. Never been to O before either so will book that too. Does Cosmo have Cabanas you can book for the day? Also, is the scene there more young and party balls or older and party balls like older people? ideal situation would be upscale, not young party obnoxious crowd, good spa, pool with cabanas, room with a balcony or pool/hot tub and if it overlooks the fountains that would be a plus.
  12. Planning a trip for late September/early October and was thinking one of the suites at Encore but haven't been in awhile (thanks Covid). If you want to go medium baller style (not quite Chitown ville) where would you stay, what would you do? What are the good shows to go to, restaurants, etc? Gambling is important but mainly only play craps and blackjack. Spa for the wife is important. Cabana at pool is important but we are 44 so don't need the debauchery at the super party pools. Appreciate any recommendations.
  13. Raining sideways in 78738.
  14. From my understanding, this will vary by dealership. For the one here, if you want a non GT car, should be pretty straight forward and at MSRP. You should be able to do the car configurator, place your deposit and done. Or, if you want to go baller style, you can go to the dealership and do the full on personalized experience and change just about anything on the car you want for money. For the GT cars (excluding the GT4), you are going to need a relationship with the dealer, money, or both. I have heard of people getting them at MSRP but that just doesn’t sound right unless you have huge status with your dealer. But, possibly if you call around enough also? For here, to get the round one allocation, you had to go 50k over or be a VIP with them or some combination of those two for the first 4 or 5 allocations (not me). For round two, you are some lesser version of the round one people with either less money over MSRP or status (me). Not sure about subsequent rounds but it will probably get to a point down the road where you can order at or close to MSRP. At this point, from what I hear at least, all allocations are spoken for the next 2 years.
  15. When posting a link to something, make sure a link to "best huge cocks pegging" is not included in the link.
  16. Played Rio Secco and TPC and they are nice. If you want to go baller style, Cascata is one of the nicest courses I have ever played.
  17. Oh, I certainly think it's more practical than a 911. The comparison was more tongue in cheek. My main issue was the storage and having to fall into/climb out every time I moved and bend way down to put the kid in and out. Wanted something a little bigger/higher.
  18. I didn't take this pic but this coral was eating a rattle snek in the middle of the fairway in my neighborhood last October.
  19. I like them but not sure for someone my level, they are worth the price...especially the wedges. I am sure some people can tell the difference in the wedges but not me. I am a little weird about golf though. This game is something I have put a ton of money and time into and still about an 18 on my course.
  20. That’s kinda what I meant by I think he got a good deal at 10k over. I wouldn’t think the GTS would pull that kinda premium. I just got rid of the Panamera GTS from a lot of pages ago on here and it dropped about 40k in 2 years. But, that’s a Panamera and not a 911. ps, for those of you that said a Panamera was a terrible dad car (i think goofy and g650)...I’m not saying you were right. But, certainly not saying you were wrong either. Cool car but about as practical as a 911.
  21. Pricing is nuts now.. A buddy of mine just paid 10k over the original sticker for a 2018 GT3 with 6k miles and certified and think he got a pretty decent deal. He is in Austin and car came from a South Carolina if that makes any difference.
  22. I went from Titliest AP3's to fitted PXG's 311's last year expecting a significant improvement and, while they are more forgiving, it was a nominal increase in my game at best.
  23. All that said, the blue car posted earlier that gets her in November is a manual and I will be at least 2 seconds around COTA slower because of it.
  24. For daily driving where you go from aggressive to relaxed depending on the circumstances, I can see G650's point. But, for track purposes, which is where the PDK shines. Your goal/intentions, almost always, are to have it in the right RPM/Gear for that speed. That's where the PDK shines. On a track, I never touch the paddles unless I want to short shift and it is always in the proper gear. But, unless maybe it's raining, you are always going to want to be in the power band. It also does drop from 5th to 2nd many times seamlessly as well.
  25. I can only help on the GT3's for the 991. For that, the 4.0 certainly makes a big difference in the 991.2. As far as PDK, it is relatively bulletproof, never seems to be in the wrong gear and much quicker in a straight line and around a track than the manual. But, the manuals seem to hold their value better and they are fun. Depending on which version you are looking at, front axle lift is pretty nice. I don't think you get launch control (which I have never used) unless you get the chrono package. Other than that, options don't mean that much to me so I would just stay away from the base model 991.1. Wife has that one and while it's still a Porsche, it doesn't drive or feel like one.
