  1. Royal Tanenbaums - “I’ve had a rough year dad”
  2. Agree with a lot of the above. Good not great. The swearing was noticeable (almost like it was intentionally so). And I think it all came from Pugh - perhaps that’s part of her change that we’ll notice in future movies/series as she becomes more of a “hero”? Harbour was funny. Tie-ins/call backs are always fun and “Draykov’s daughter” being used by Loki in the first Avengers to antagonize her was a good one.
  3. Why shocked? Don’t like him as a player? Personality / attitude?
  4. Just finished. Echo many of the comments above. Great show and beautifully shot. Locations were amazing. Emma’s hair helmet is a perfect description and it is super distracting - like did she just get hair plugs? Looks really weird.
  5. Funny, I just saw on a plane and came to post as well. I liked it. But I liked Dunkirk as well so to some up thread maybe my taste in movies is off. opening scene at opera house sucked me in and was entertained throughout. As I was on plane subtitles were on from the start so I didn’t have an issue with sound that some mention. I did guess that he was fighting himself in the Freeport once Pattinson ripped the mask of the one he was chasing. Pattinson did a good job. JDW did as well. could have used more of Ives; thought he was a good character. Took me a while to figure out that was MCU Quicksilver. to the poster above re: Kat not needing oxygen - they didn’t forget the plot device. Once she had gone backwards far enough to get to Vietnam in time, then she started working forward and, as such, didn’t need the oxygen anymore as she was going “in the same direction.” Before that, she was always in a sealed environment.
  6. I don’t know that I’ve seen him in anything else but he was an odd choice here. I don’t know if I’d say he “almost ruined” it but he doesn’t make me want to watch it again (and I otherwise would). Farrell was great as was Dockery. McConaughey and Hunnam were fine. I actually could have used less Hugh Grant. And echo the comment above on Layer Cake. If you haven’t seen that, you should
  7. Anyone else have first round of PPP forgiveness sitting with the SBA for months? Our bank can’t tell us anything other than “we have a lot of clients in the same position”.
  8. Yan’s knee to the head of Sterling was bizarre. It was almost like “I’m done with this guy, screw it” and blasted him. That was awful. I was not impressed with Sterling at all in that fight though. Horrible way to win a belt.
  9. Any of you all seeing any pre-revenue companies taking a shot at PPP round 2? Obviously won’t be able to show the YOY revenue dip but wondered if they were still trying (and succeeding)?
  10. Are you getting names mixed up in your post? Buehler is the #1.
  11. Thanks for this rec. Only through a couple of episodes but really liking this far.
  12. Already mentioned but make sure you use 24 week covered period. That should definitely help given loan amount was based on a 12 week period.
  13. Never saw him in his prime other than old highlights, but I always go back to an interview I saw with Chick Hearn. The interviewer asks Chick who was the greatest center, Kareem or Wilt. Chick thinks for a second and asks back “just those two? Because I might say Walton.” When Chick drops Walton’s name I’m like “that goofy dude who can’t even run the floor? No way he touches Kareem.” So for me that was a pretty strong statement of how good Walton was.
  14. Just saw this. Absolutely loved it and will watch again. Crazy that you can have a movie with absolute hilarious pretty much throughout while delivering gut punches and such touching moments in between. Just really well done all around. Performances were great from entire cast.
  15. ETB - I appreciate your openness in this thread. A couple of thoughts, with perhaps some questions because I didn’t go back to re-read anything: 1. The church your wife and family attend has already restored the pastor who had an affair with your wife to his role as lead pastor? In a matter of weeks? Titus 1:7-9 - 7 For an overseer, as God's steward, must be above reproach. He must not be arrogant or quick-tempered or a drunkard or violent or greedy for gain, 8 but hospitable, a lover of good, self-controlled, upright, holy, and disciplined. 9 He must hold firm to the trustworthy word as taught, so that he may be able to give instruction in sound doctrine and also to rebuke those who contradict it. Marital infidelity with a married woman puts a person well outside of qualified to lead a congregation. That is often a transgression that will never restore someone to pastor. The restoration process simply to congregant (typically at another church) is a long exercise in humility and biblical counseling. You need to run (not walk) from that church. No idea where you live but if you’re having trouble locating a solid church, I’m sure folks here can point you to one. 2. As a follow to the above. Your children are minors that live in your household? Do they know what has happened? If I have the facts correct, they shouldn’t be anywhere near that church (and neither should your wife). You are the spiritual leader of the household and ultimately have the responsibility for the teaching your family is getting. If you get pushback from the in-laws, point them to the passage above and many others that discuss the qualifications for the role of pastor and ask them if that is really the type of pastor to whom they want to submit to their teaching. If their answer is yes, I suspect there are other motives for their loyalty to this church/pastor. 3. Really glad to read you are attending biblical counseling. Definitely would encourage you to continue that You are going through quite the trial. I’ll end my lengthy post with James 1:2-4 - 2 Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, 3 for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. 4 And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.
  16. I understand he has a torn cornea but I have zero sympathy for Cormier getting poked in the eye
  17. This question is relevant to my interests as well. Would be a refi
  18. This. I also use “and the installation is freeeee” way too often.
  19. Is this info publicly available from SBA (or other)? I saw a similar number from “sources within the Administration” but would love to see something semi-official.
  20. Shockingly sounds like E-Tran was overwhelmed within minutes and shut down. Bank has been quiet as I imagine they are scrambling to get everything in subject to pacing requirements SBA tried to implement. Anyone hearing anything?
  21. Maclovio (or anyone) - you hearing the same re: E-Tran opening back up on Monday?
  22. Apparently our initial application was rejected for what our bank is telling us was a “330 error” which they can’t identify the cause of. Anyone else seen this and been able to determine the issue? They say they are ready to resubmit in this 2nd wave but don’t know if it will just get rejected again.
  23. Who do you bank with? SVB pushed back their goal of yesterday at 4pm PT and now just has “check back for updates” Anyone use a bank they don’t have an existing deposit and/or Lending relationship with?
