  1. Carr looks like he has lost his legs these last two weeks
  2. Same for Timmy. Start Rice and Brock. Bring Tim and Mitchell off the bench.
  3. He reminds me of another Florida (State) QB. EJ Manuel. Big arm but terrible college tape. Went first round and just seemed guaranteed to be a bust. Both 6-4 230lbs when they entered the draft “ Strengths Manuel is a big, strong, fast athlete who keeps defenses on their heels. He smoothly executes play fakes and rollouts with precision. Manuel's delivery is clean and he seems to have natural feel as a passer in the short and intermediate areas of the defense, whether he's throwing a touch pass or a fastball. Manuel isn't always accurate as a deep passer, but he has the arm strength to stretch NFL defenses. While he is a dangerous runner, Manuel doesn't abandon the pocket at the first sign of trouble, but he has good vision and can make strong throws downfield outside of the pocket. Weaknesses Manuel hasn't demonstrated that he can patiently go deep into progressions or process defenses at an advanced level. In general, he wasn't asked to do many advanced tasks as a passer at Florida State. He sometimes looks hesitant to pull the trigger and tends to err on the side of taking his checkdown option. Manuel's deep-ball accuracy is very erratic.
  4. Would have liked the episode more if there weren't only two episodes left in the season. Could have done the same in half the time.
  5. Photo not doing paint work justice. Sounded great
  6. Identity was defense and experience. We still have the experience. He’s right though. We have no crutch on offense except Carr and if he’s not up for it we are sunk. The last 10 games did show us our offensive identity but the staff seem only interested in holding the line vs trying to get better. Rice should be the offensive identity of the team and everything else should revolve around him.
  7. Second source I've seen speculating that testing went too smoothly and should be reduced or removed. Ridiculous Could get on board with tiered time limits based on prior season’s results ”Which, considering that this was the second time in three years that only three days of winter running were deemed necessary, should perhaps spark a debate over the necessity for pre-season testing.” https://www.planetf1.com/news/f1-2023-testing-conclusions/
  8. Return of the Dragon Nakamichi Dragon soundbar https://www.whathifi.com/features/i-heard-the-nakamichi-dragon-21-channel-soundbar-unleashed-and-it-really-is-quite-something
  9. White knight for Cap’s lie. How’s his ass taste?
  10. So did this earlier reported text not happen? Miles- "The heat is in the hat," and "There's one in the head," referring to the gun being present and loaded.
  11. Thread needs more fierce ISU cheerleader and dirty little read head at basketball game with the oral outline smile.
  12. Co-worker just had her SUV stolen. Broke the back window. Destroyed the steering column. Abandoned with a bunch of stolen goods in it. 78704 area. Its a damn Hyundai. Sucks for her but she was already planning to moving out of the area
  13. What is truly beneficial to a bottom team? Using a 60% scale wind tunnel that could not simulate porpoising? Or on track testing?
  14. 3 days of preseason testing. In the past, there was unlimited testing pre-season that was later restricted to control costs if i read correctly. So with a cost cap in place, why keep the restriction? Why not let the teams determine how much to test based on their budget? As for leveling the field, would more on track testing available for the lowest teams do more than more wind tunnel time? Seems like a lost chance at some variability.
  15. Guessing your parents “fell” into one of these categories for APD ”The Austin Police Department will no longer respond to the scene of nonemergency crimes, interim police Chief Joseph Chacon announced Sept. 29.Chacon said several types of crimes, including verbal disturbances, theft and prostitution, that are no longer an active threat people or property should be considered nonemergency and reported to 311 or online instead of to 911.” https://communityimpact.com/austin/central-austin/2021/09/30/austin-police-department-to-no-longer-respond-to-scene-of-some-nonemergency-calls/
  16. 911 Response times have been shit for a while https://www.kxan.com/investigations/austin-police-911-response-times-up-for-critical-calls-dire-staffing-blamed/amp/ Take a look at Friday, July 15: Total calls: 868 Average response time: 37:37 Sundays are typically slower for patrol officers, so response times are quicker. Take a look at Sunday, July 17: Total calls: 831 Average response time: 31:53 https://www.kvue.com/amp/article/news/investigations/defenders/austin-police-patrol-officer-shortage/269-16f38194-2ffb-4f02-becc-3b4db6375f20
