  1. It's such a home field advantage Texas has only won 6 of the last 7 games there
  2. Attended some sales meetings in Dayton one July in mid 90s and there was a celebrity pro-am golf tournament going on at the same time. Our meetings were in the hotel that was tournament HQ so there were lots of celebs and quasi- celebs around. Several espn guys- Dan Patrick was cool but pretty impressed with himself at the same time. Rob Dibble was a complete asshole and I could tell from his splotchy purple skin he was juiced to the gills. Charles Barkley was there ( near the end of his career) and spent tons of time on the stairmaster. Stan Humphries was cool, drank a lot of beer. I rode the elevator with KC (of KC and The Sunshine Band)
  3. Austin has a shortage of swimming lesson instructors sounds like to me
  4. Wordle 1,451 2/6 ⬜🟩⬜⬜⬜ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  5. Some youtuber took out another youtuber and his girlfriend in front of The Bellagio last night. Apparently they had issues, don't know why a slapfight couldn't have solved it but whatever. Probably the most millennial crime ever. https://bnonews.com/index.php/2025/06/youtuber-among-2-killed-las-vegas-strip-shooting/
  6. Whoever came up with 'mebounds' deserves some kind of medal. So freaking hilarious
  7. Damn I used to see him at trade shows, nicest guy in the world
  8. Yeah I think I do lol. My 7th grade science teacher was roommates with Jeff Daniels in college and he came and spoke to us when Terms of Endearment was shooting in Houston

  15. It's not weird at all for his mommy to get involved in this
  16. Met Jeff Bagwell at IAH baggage claim mid 90s. Lou Holtz walking thru O'Hara about same time, not friendly. David Shaw in Charlotte, he was really nice. Eddie Guerrero and Chris Benoit at 24 Hour Fitness on Westheimer. Eddie was cool as hell, Chris not so much. Met Vinnie Paul and rest of Hellyeah at Uncle Julios in Dallas. He was the coolest dude ever. A few others that I'm forgetting right now
  17. Tempo is very beneficial. Focus on the eccentric phase particularly on chest and bicep stuff. Up slow on back and tricep stuff.
  18. If you're going to wear gloves make sure they match your purse. Don't wear a fucking belt either. But hobbs is correct on straps. Very useful for back day. If you use back day to work your grip/ forearms then I promise you really don't know how to work your back or don't know how to train forearms or both. I did heavy bench, incline and behind the neck /military press with barbells and dumbbells from about 14 until about 30 (really heavy from about 16 -30) and that was not a great idea it turns out. Wish i knew better then, now it's all Hammer Strength type machines and cables with various pushups for chest. I think your shoulder/ bicep area has an odometer and once it hits a certain level of the combination of weight and sheer volume they'll never be the same. If you started late or never went real heavy you'll probably be ok for awhile. Now that I think about it your liver would be a good analogy actually 😆
  19. He can go into the crowd at an arena league game to try and fight a woman...go to about 2:00 in the video
