  1. Really hope they both come back next year.
  2. On Anthony Hill Jr. (Thursday 9:30 pm) - C.J. Vogel "Hill remains pretty banged up, and it would not come as a surprise if he was a game-time scratch... We will see come Friday evening, but I’m not entirely optimistic currently."
  3. I understand UConn is really good, but beating #3 UCLA and #2 SCar should put Texas at #1, in my (biased) opinion. It doesn't mean a damn thing, though.

  5. Thigpen is crushing us.

  8. I'm not trying to take away the fact that people are responsible for their actions, but it's much more complicated than that most of the time. There's a reason "Step 1" in AA is "honesty."
  9. Maybe go read some about "bad genes" and alcohol use disorder and report back here. https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC4056340/
  10. Does a virus or bacterium cause every ailment or disease?... But, please, keep enlightening those of us who work in healthcare here how you know more than us. I bet you also think postpartum moms just need to stop being sad, too.
  11. Lol, there are medications for it. Naltrexone helps reduce cravings by blocking alcohol's pleasurable effects, acamprosate works by helping restore brain chemistry, and disulfiram causes an unpleasant physical reaction if a person drinks alcohol. You're really showing your ass here.
  12. Monday Recruiting: The OV aftermath (2:52pm CT) - Gerry
  13. Afternoon Recruiting Update By Bobby Burton 7 hours ago 1. Early last week, I mentioned there was some good recruiting news headed the way of the Longhorns that no one was really talking about at that time. Absolutely nothing has changed in that regard; in fact, it was only further solidified yesterday. The only thing that has been fluid is the timeline of the recruit in question. 2. Georgetown running back Jett Walker is a lifelong Longhorn fan. How much so? He told CJ Vogel that they played The Eyes of Texas at his grandmother's funeral. 3. California linebacker commitment Rocky Cummings looked even better in person than some expected. Unlike Florida State linebacker commitment Karon Maycock, who the Longhorns brought in for a visit but eventually chose not to pursue afterward, Texas is poised to pursue Cummings further. 4. As Gerry has mentioned, I'm told whoever the future HC at LSU is will impact the ultimate decisions of both defensive lineman Richard Anderson and offensive lineman Brysten Martinez. 5. Gerry also mentioned that Vodney Cleveland visited North Carolina again yesterday (the Tar Heels lost to Duke). He was not the only Longhorn commitment visiting elsewhere. Offensive lineman Max Wright visited SMU. Wright is expected to be at the Texas-Texas A&M game on Friday.
  14. There’s basically nothing for me to add here. Your list is my list. I guess it depends on what the front office is willing to spend/what they’re willing to give up prospect wise. I’d like to keep Bregman, but you laid it out nicely.
  15. Two. Don't want to win our bowl game and lose to A&M 😉
  16. Faked a punt (direct snap to up back) on their own side of the field up 14 with 7 minutes and change remaining. GT then proceeds to score quickly to cut it to 7.
  17. Yeah, WTF?! Make them burn clock and go the full length of the field. You're up 14 with 7 and change left. LOL. Now a 7-point game with 4:52 left. Pitt kind of deserves to lose this now. Just dumb this half. No offensive scores.
  18. Going to have a very inexperienced interior OL. Better get some OL worth a damn in the portal this off season to have a shot next year.
  19. And all of last year on ST too.
  20. Scott Woodward, you say? That dude seems to be linked to so many bad head football coach scenarios.
  21. Friday - Bobby
