  1. Okay, hear me out, guys... Here's how you solve the Miami and ND debate: Just put Texas in.
  2. They'll get a first-round bye. No home game.
  3. Tech isn't ass. The front 7 is legit. However, BYU is awfully overrated. There need to be play-in games for the final four spots. Texas would smoke this team.
  4. They never give up. They just go ring another doorbell.
  5. You think James Madison is better than BYU then? They're about to have a better record than y'all...
  6. You are not a recovering alcoholic if you think the following teams are not better than BYU
  7. This guy thinks SEC = Big12. There are at least 7 teams in the SEC that would easily beat BYU.
  8. A "fair price" is set by his utility to Texas in terms of value-add to winning games. That was basically zero this season. I'm not sure what you think you're arguing here. Yes, he's a great culture guy, but Texas can find great culture guys who provide more upside on the field and don't cost what Baxter expects.
  9. Good for her Honestly, Preston, Crump, and Judd missing time is probably good for this team long-term. Lee is developing a real penchant for scoring in their absence. She went for 22 last night with only two three-pointers. Booker went 4-12 and we still won by 15. Huge leaps from Lee, Carlton, and Preston (when she returns) might be what pushes Texas to the top this year.
  10. Hannah seems like she’s a fun person… Olivia Miles probably thinks so too.
  11. Damn, if 3-5 OL leave, then I would imagine we bring in just as many, if not more. We need a couple of steady, multiyear guys to stabilize that room too. At WR, I bet I know who the Ffar too costly poor eval was. The odds better be 100% that he does his fucking job.
  12. Bobby, this AM: "Still waiting on a couple to announce today while tracking exactly who else the Horns might be recruiting. Regardless of the recruiting outcome, Texas has been prepping for the portal behind the scenes for months. That will be the personnel focus of the next month at least. We could see other 2027s jump on board in the interim, too, with junior days already set for month of January."
  13. I at least appreciate him saying this instead of some BS coach speak.
  14. Personal Class Rankings of 2026 Signees | Vogel, OTF
  15. Bobby on Texas and the portal: Sark was adamant that he and his personnel team would be addressing needs in the portal at these positions: - OL (he mentioned it three times in the press conference) - RB - DL - LB - DB - Specialists (plural)
  16. Thursday - Bobby 2026 unsigned news and portal info:
  17. Jordan Pope, what would you say you do here…? 27 mins, 0-5 from three, 1 assist Your starting PG, gentlemen.
  18. Year 1 is looking… not great. Not like we weren’t worried about not having a true PG and poor 3-point shooting before the season though.
  19. Yep, but they’ve lost to every decent team they’ve played.
  20. Hi, Daniel. Anyways, who’s doomed?
  21. OL (numbers and overall quality) is unacceptably poor. DL (numbers, not quality) is lackluster now pending the loss of Wells and without a true interior tech. We’ll need to take at least one multi-year guy in the portal like we did with Watson last year; not just one and dones. DB has numbers, and I expect Davis will be a baller, but I’m not sure the overall quality is great in that group either. However, with the increased scholarship limits for 2025-2026, taking a HS class of 25 still allows for significant portal grabs without huge roster churn. Hopefully, Sark learned from last year that he needs to bring more players in. I can’t imagine it won’t happen given it’s the final shot with Arch.
