  1. Austin Public Health now has an active link to register for the vaccine. I filled it out and some of the questions they ask: race, income, how many in your household, etc kind of stick to the narrative that the city wants to vaccinate "less served" communities first. https://covid19.austintexas.gov/s/?language=en_US Maybe yall found this awhile ago, but I couldn't find it at all yesterday.
  2. Wife wanted a "stand up" desk ever since she started working from home (didn't have one at her office, btw). I buy her one and set it all up. She doesn't sit or stand at it. She raised her chair up to about barstool height and adjusted the desk accordingly. So I casually called it a "sit a little higher desk". not amused.
  3. I'm in Austin but signed up for shots at half a dozen Brookshire Brothers within a 100 miles. Thanks for that link! I'm in 1b due to some preexisting stuff.
  4. Ive never been much of a Dylan fan but after listening to Garcia Dylan I can understand the words. Positively 4th Street is in heavy rotation. I just think about all the SOBs that are still in my life and the final verse about how you wish that SOB knew how much it sucked to be around them....just gold Sent from my HD1925 using Tapatalk
  5. Hey peeps. Any love for JGB or New Riders of the Purple Sage? I'm leaning more into JGB as of late. Reuben and Cherise from Garcia Live, Volume 8 11/23/91 is top 10 all time. Do we do spotify links or no?

they should relocate to BB Rovers current location. It's sort of hanging on, probably because that shopping center owner can't find anyone to lease the space, i dunno.
  7. I was listening to the brown eyes women from buffalo 5/9/77 when I ran across your post. did they play there two nights? It's fantastic
  8. I was impressed with the turn out at DKR tonight. The good: moving the band back into the stands, moving the visitors to the upper end of the end zone, alumni dance squad, less sideline BS (the hype squad, the weather man, etc) the students showed up early. Great weather considering the forecast of monsoon conditions and it could of been over 100. The bad: our coaching.
  9. When buying a whole packer, 12+ lbs, you will want about a 1/4 inch of fat on the flat. Remove any large hunks of fat around the edges. I probably take around 2 lbs of fat off a 12lb brisket packer. I've never had an end product where I've thought, "I trimmed too much fat off". Good luck, and lets see some pics
  10. I picked these up a month back, NB calls the color "Jupiter"
  11. I had the same though, why don't I remember this. I think its because the summer of 2003 is when we invaded Iraq so I'm sure that was the lead story
