In the hood today and ended up at a place on Roosevelt by the Missions called Taqueria Guadalajara. Really good standard Mexican plate. $8.99. My go to 2 enchiladas and 1 crispy taco. Homemade tortillas. Good spot if you want real deal and are in town at the Missions.
Almost went for their quesabirria special but just had that recently somewhere else.
No wonder Earley didn’t want to repeat what Gasparino said. It blows up his whole argument. I’ll do it again? That is what caused Kash to go ballistic? Would have thought Gasparino has some inside info about his sister.
The baseball rulebook is pretty vague about ejections. Is talks about unsportsmanlike behavior and language. A part of the game is razzing the other team. I don't know what Gasparino said, but to get that kind of reaction out of Kash it must have been pretty bad (or pretty good). But an umpire would have to actually hear what he said. The other team can't say "He said...". The umpire 100% heard what Kash said in reaction and his physical movements. What do you want them to do? Sucks for you, but that is life.
How do they explain being swept at home by Bama, swept on the road against Vandy, and losing series at home 2-1 vs Kentucky? That is 1-8 with two of those at home. They are trying to show evidence that a tougher schedule is what causes the discrepancy in record, but clearly those 3 series had nothing to do with toughness of schedule.
i think there is little difference between number #2 in the SEC standings Arkie all the way down to #12 aggy. i think any team in there can win a series over any of the others.
Not a praline, but I remember getting that free sugary brown candy in the chip basket at Monterey House. It might have been some kind of cajeta. We are talking 45-50 years ago.
Used to be in Longhorn netdom that you couldn’t go three posts on a thread like this without Fuel City being mentioned. Has it gone downhill? Probably been 12-14 years since I’ve been. I remember the last time I went I was a little less impressed from the first time, but that was after I had moved to San Antonio.
"stayed fat"
I think most people don't look at people that re 395 pounds and wonder "why can't that dude lose 200 pounds". I think they look at those people and wonder "how the hell did he let himself go like that?"
if all this is true, i think either Grubbs becomes a starter and use someone like Burns for his previous role, or you go with someone like Bing with a short leash to Grubbs. my preference would be start Grubbs.
it was predicated on if he was a 340ish hitter by the end of the year. where would you put a 340ish Jonah type player in the lineup? i think Mendoza is a perfect 2.
