  1. Someone upthread mentioned Saban and Campbell were not necessarily aligned. Oh, but we love writing the stories on our own basis and need for hate.
  2. Just finished. I thought it was great. 2 questions: 1. I understand the rebellion has to be cynical to survive; but how many fucking deposits in the Good Guys Bank & Trust does fucking Cassian have to make before the leaders trust him? That inquiry in E12 was like he was just some random shmuck walking in from the rain. " Maybe I should stop saving people" was the line of the show, IMHO. 2. Why are there multiple abodes in the series that just leave their front door, if there was one, wide ass open, with zero regard to AC or insects in a tropical environment? Meanwhile on Dagobah...
  3. We don't negotiate pay/ wages/ comp. You're right though, it's not my money; but I basically own everything else about the worker's experience.
  4. I didn't put that there, someone else did. I also post very rarely in here, but employment and labor relations are something I am very passionate about.
  5. Carbonneau and keane are exactly who I was thinking of last night; however, I don't remember them repeatedly making stupid idiotic penalties that hurt the team
  6. Or maybe… I don't know… Have an environment where people don't feel the need to have somebody else represent them. I know that iis an affront to everything some of you fuckers believe in. it's also no surprise the most unionized areas are the most left-leaning, in the country
  7. My employer is about 84% non-union and we negotiate hard as a mofo with unionized sites. The goal is for them to get paid exactly like the "non- organized" locations, but then the unions take their dues. Unions are generally a pain in the ass and more cumbersome/ less agile to deal with. What would your national policy to "encourage organizing" look like? Have the companies pay the union dues? If so, fuck that shit.
  8. "I think jizz frosted nipples would put me over the top" "Like on a stripper?" "No. On mine."
  9. If you're ever in Borger...or Monahans.
  10. Benn and Seguin are supposed to be the hosses. They are basically coattail riders now. They have virtually nothing to do with the win and repeatedly put their team in a bind. It's hardly an isolated event.
  11. More timely leadership. Gotdam these guys are meatheads.
  12. I have nothing against the studio announcer, but the bullshit demonstrations with real pads are just as dumb as the football play breakdowns by the studio guys.
  13. I guess Otter is back in good graces after keeping Dallas alive for the Period. and feeling Finnish X2.
  14. One, maybe 2 shots on goal during PP only for a direct shot from the wing to hit 5 hole at barely even strength. Frustrating. Otter shoulda had it too.
  15. Stereotypes aside, I worked with many Indians/ Pakis in the Houston area. They were some hardworking mofos and very structured with their pecking order, similar to military/ mob hierarchy. If one of the underlings fucked up, they would put their ass in a store out in BFE and give em a mat in the office to sleep on, as in, your ass ain't leavin until we say so. 8-9 weeks was the longest I ever saw it continue. The other thing culturally is that they were HUGE pranksters and loved punking each other. There would be times when I would be laughing harder than I ever would in other environments. They generally had great senses of humor. Business-wise, they were good to deal with. The bosses were extremely protective of 'the process ' and tolerated no shenanigans on serious stuff. See also: dude getting put in 'time-out' at a podunk store. Cannot comment on the neighbor piece.
  16. Puck don't lie. or somethin like that.
  17. Feeling very Finnish for some reason. Go Stars!!!
  18. Just move the Baseball Honor Dome to Cleveland so it can be with the other fucked up HoF.
  19. So did the rebellion glean technology from the TIE-Fighter Cassian escaped in, or was it simply the vehicle he found available? Seems like it was cutting edge, given his adjustment time.
  20. That's your guess. The past sure doesn't support it with regard to Campbell, but maybe...so work that narrative. LOL If anything, the limits would support a return to SEC bagman method. Again, why in the hell would that favor Tech?
