  1. One day out from CTJr's announcement and all CBs still on Texas. He's either doing a fantastic job keep the various coaching staff's in the dark or nothing has changed all along.
  2. Not sure how fumblitis can be eval'd. I'll give them a pass on that one... we were desperate for RBs in the transition class. Most schools would've taken him in their class without hesitation.
  3. Lake McRee could be argued as well, but he already had a ton of top flight offers.
  4. Same. They appear to be very thorough on their evals and it's become very apparent you have to offer and take commits much earlier these days.
  5. Coming from a dude who was essentially Mack's mouthpiece in the media.
  6. Remaining must gets: Collins and Johnston.
  7. I was already putting today in the books, but your point is well-taken.
  8. Yet, not a one of them has changed their CB to cloudy.
  9. All 10 CBs currently on the good guys a day out from declaring. It's plausible AU could pull the surprise, but history would indicate it's not likely.
  10. I'd be perfectly content if they won 8-9 every year and didn't sniff their championship game or a major bowl. Keeps Helton there longer.
  11. Posted about this last week and got called out by a few, but his HUDL isn't overly impressive. Compare/contrast against someone like Q. Johnston and it's clear he's not on the same level athletically. Perhaps he has fly-paper hands and QJ has hands of stone. But as a pure athlete it's not close. I'm hoping we keep grinding on prospects or hold the 'ship altogether. WRs are in abundance and we're not in dire need.
  12. They're roughly the same size. Bijan is quicker with his cuts. Hard to say on top end speed. Evans: A little more physical Bijan: More instinctual Basically, no drop off at all and we'd be doing well to have either.
  13. Added Q. Johnston as well... .9343 overall
  14. If Wiltfong is speculating it's a sure bet a number of them are already aware. If there's anything to it we should start seeing the CBs changing over the next 24 hrs.
  15. tOSU, Texas and USC appear to be his only OVs. USC was a "mid-week" variety, which is usually fairly telling. It would seem we were running 2nd behind tOSU given all reports and how his OVs shook out. But who knows? Az is hometown and he doesn't really need an OV if they're the choice.
  16. Well, let's hope there's something to that. By all accounts we were running second, so hopefully it bodes well for us.
  17. Didn't really get into specific predictions in terms of our record from what I recall. On offense, expect to be more explosive and pray for Sam to remain healthy. On defense, while many are pointing to the loss of 8 starters as a major concern, he's making the argument we're not as inexperienced as most think and expects better play this year than last. Third year in the scheme, better overall athleticism, etc. If so, we can expect the floor for this season to be roughly how things worked out last season with some significant potential to the upside.
  18. There's been lots of discussion about all three of late. The debate over initially slow-playing Johnston in favor of Omeire along with the increasing likelihood of Hester/Neville being parts of the '20 and '21 classes. Johnston's size/athleticism jump off the screen. He has another gear the other two do not. Both Neville and Hester have size, but didn't appear to be overly explosive and fought the ball at times. Could be crappy QB play hurting them both in the available clips. Oddly, the knock on Johnston has been his hands and it wasn't evident in the clips. In the end, the coaching staff has a ton more insight and evaluation experience. It's just my opinion and it's worth about what anyone is paying for it.
  19. Just got around to watching HUDL on Q. Johnston, L. Neville and J. Hester... 100% Yes, on Q. Johnston (what the heck were waiting on with this guy) Pass on the other two... don't see the explosive athleticism or natural instincts with either of them
  20. Takes us to 263.90 with the six you mention. Good for 13th overall last year. We'd likely add another 3-4 players over and above that somehow and end up around 275-280 overall, which would've been somewhere between 5-10 last year. Sounds about right.
  21. Got a link or a source? It's not reflected on the 24/7 page as yet.
  22. Wow! Wonder if this will impact Lindberg.
