  1. Tickets are well into the $200s if you want to sit up high.
  2. Yeah I think I prefer this setup actually
  3. I will be there to drink all your booze and eat all your breakfast tacos. Instead of stumbling through a Dollar General at 6am to find guac while still completely hammered from the night before, I'd rather contribute monetarily if able.
  4. I can assure you anything forming right now won't affect a game in 14 days.
  5. Ticket prices coming down from where they were last week. Can easily get into the upper deck vistor's section for less than $350 with all fees. Last week they were $400-450.
  6. We're leaving Dallas Thursday night, spending the night in Vicksburg so I can hit the craps tables, then pressing to T-Town on Fri morning. We're staying at the Hampton Inn there.
  7. I confirmed with both the Texas and Bama box offices that we received ZERO lower level tickets as the visiting team because we did the same to Bama last year.
  8. I'm game. Sending you DM.
  9. I read the official visitor's section is MM and NN. Anyone gotten tickets there yet?
  10. I'm confused now. We talking game tickets or RV lot tickets?
  11. I'm looking for 2 if you're selling
  12. Maybe this is not the forum or maybe it is, but from a person that's never owned or driven an RV and is thinking about renting one and parking in this lot, what do I need to make sure it has? I'm guessing I need a full water tank to be able to use the shower and shitter and a generator for power?
  13. Their RV lot is a 27 minute walk to the stadium? Wtf?
  14. I've asked twice and no one has answered but I refuse to STFU until I get an answer. Does anyone know when we get our ticket allotments? As in, when will more tickets hit the secondary market? Anyone?
  15. Does anyone know when tickets get released to us?
  16. I just booked rooms at the Hampton Inn East if any of you fucks are out there. I'd like to do the RV thing but this is just a back up. When do ticket allotments go out? And have we confirmed which sections we'll be in?
  17. Not even sure when visiting teams get their allocation, but I'll be looking for 2 in the Texas section.
  18. I'll be there with a buddy so count us in. Now that I've confirmed that important part of the journey, time to look for tickets, rooms, and a way to get there.
  19. A buddy and I flew up to Calgary for the game. I don't have many details to report because I had basically been drinking for 36 hours straight at puck drop, but it was fun and the fans were actually pretty cool. The Saddle Dome was a lot quieter than I imagined. I don't think the AAC is a loud building but it definitely has more energy than the Dome. It helped that we crushed their spirits a minute into the game. The beers were cheap, the poutine was hot, and I fully support 18 year old girls drinking legally. There's also a casino next door to the Dome which is a nice touch when you haven't blown enough money already on your trip.
  20. OK we'll probably have to nix La Playa or move it to another day. Best bars for me and my buddy to sneak away to once the kids are in bed?
  21. My family and another are heading down to Port A this weekend for SB. We have 7 kids between the 2 families, the oldest being 11 and the youngest 3. We have a VRBO a few minutes from the beach. We're only down there for 3 days/3 nights, so not a ton of time to hit everything, but this is what I have planned and I want you all to tell me why this itinerary is a bad idea and how I can improve it. Day 1 4pm-Arrive at house 4:01-Start drinking heavily Dinner-Seafood place capable of handling 11 (need suggestions here) Day 2 Breakfast-cook at house Late morning/early afternoon-Beach Dinner-La Playa 6pm-Sunset dolphin boat ride Day 3 Breakfast-??? Morning-Texas State Aquarium Lunch-??? (Somewhere in CC. I always dug the vibe of the Whataburger on the water south of downtown) Afternoon-Lexington Dinner-Grill at house Day 4 Drive home, hit Shiner Brewery tour on the way out
  22. Most newer C-130J's are 15' longer than the older E/H model that you're used to seeing. That might be what you're referring to.
  23. I too would recommend the Chad Briscoe center.
  24. It was a fun experience from a nostalgia perspective, but holy fuck now I remember why I hated that place so much. As previously mentioned, the lines for food and merchandise were unbearable. We walked into the dome around 5pm and the lines for everything were at least 50+ people deep on the bottom level. We were in the club level, so we went up there and the lines were just as bad. I then made the decision to get food and gear during the first quarter thinking the lines would be shorter. Wrong. I went downstairs with 5 min left in the 1st quarter to get a couple t-shirts, food, and a couple cocktails and came back at fucking halftime. The only saving grace were the beer guys selling shitty domestics so I unfortunately drank more Bud Light than I have in the past 20 years. Also, I expected them to honor past players and really play up the history of the dome better than they did. I mean, David Robinson, the greatest MFer to ever play in the dome, only came out between quarters to announce the attendance. That's the best we can do to honor one of our greatest players of all time? I swear the game day experience and marketing team for the Spurs are the worst in the league. Maybe it's just a small market thing, but go to any other game in any other city and you'll see the difference. This was their time to shine, with the nation's eye balls on our little city and I think we just shit the bed with the experience imo. I'm not bitter and I did enjoy myself, but I guess I was just expecting more. But maybe that's just pinche puro San Antonio.
