  1. It only took 10 specialists until Fultz and his buddies found one to give the diagnosis they wanted.
  2. He's just thinking of the kids. Wants to make sure they have all the pertinent information to make the right decision.
  3. Chiefs tried to follow the Aggy model of investigating players and got burned.
  4. Netflix probably knows they're going to lose out on these shows anyway once Disney+ launches next year.
  5. The health retirement comes after cesspools appear and the winning starts to fade. He'll be fine as long as he's winning the Big-10 or at least getting to the conference title game.
  6. Nice trade by Cashman. Slight durability concern with Paxton (only one season with 160+ IP), but he's trending in the right direction in that department.
  7. ...and now we cut to Coach K smirking on the sideline.
  8. It doesn't have to be a school-specific hand gesture. I think it's pretty clear when a player is taunting opposing fans/players/coaches with a gesture, and thus draws a penalty, based on current rules. If a players is blatantly looking directly at some form of the opposition (fans/players/coaches) and makes the quiet sign/throat slit gesture/points to the name on his jersey/runs his hand across the school name on the jersey, it's a penalty. If you think that's taking the fun out of college football fine, complain to the NCAA and have them change the rule.
  9. Based on the current taunting rules: Opposing players throwing the horns down to Texas fans/players/coaches should be a penalty. Opposing players throwing the horns down to their own fans/teammates/coaches should not be a penalty. Texas players throwing the horns up to opposing fans/players/coaches should be a penalty. Texas players throwing the horns up to their own fans/teammates/coaches should not be a penalty.
  10. So he basically agreed to a 1-year extension on his current deal?
  11. Magic gave him Lance Stephenson, Michael Beasley, and Rajon Rondo to work with. What more do you want?
  12. I look forward to the day when Jerry makes a trade to theoretically help the team make the playoffs, and the models say he actually decreased their chances. It can't be that far away.
  13. So does this mean the clapper doesn't get to use the "no receivers" excuse when Dallas finishes at best 8-8 again and Jerry might actually fire him?
  14. He deserves far worse, like actual prison time instead of his BS probation.
  15. Granted it was just practice, but KAT and Wiggins haven't taken the team anywhere notable without Butler (not that a 1st round playoff exit is much better), and don't appear to have any interest in doing anything other than putting up enough stats to get paid. At least they'll be rid of Butler after this year so they can continue their blissful existence of being a borderline playoff team at best while KAT and Wiggins make some highlight reels.
  16. He didn't know the start time at all. Hard to hire enough people to keep track of all those pesky details when you can't go over the luxury tax.
  17. Always a good omen when your starting pitcher doesn't know when the game is scheduled to start.
  18. Yeah, but 1. Jon Jones isn't from Russia 2. He punches and kicks a lot instead of grappling all the time. Ergo, he gets a pass. At least I guess that's how it works based on the last few pages discussion.
  19. After some serious soul searching and reflection, they'll compromise and Urban will sit out the home games against Oregon State and Rutgers. Even though Urban clearly did nothing wrong, tOSU will send a strong message that all coaches must remain vigilant and have zero tolerance for domestic violence. /sarcasm
  20. tOSU isn't playing anyone threatening in the first couple weeks. Let the assistants run drills on autopilot and try (and likely fail) to garner some goodwill by letting the independent investigation conclude before you suspend Meyer for the preseason and carry on as if nothing happened.
  21. Yes and no. Yes, this is how things should play out. No, because Maryland has sucked, currently sucks, and will continue to suck at football, there's nothing to burn down, no big source of revenue being put at risk. Whether they choose to admit guilt this publicly doesn't change the fact that there was going to be money rightfully paid out to the family. It will truly be refreshing when university that has skin in the game other than the PR/moral standpoint chooses to go the Maryland route.
  22. 10-15 record at a non-football school? Clean house the minute the investigation is complete and then prepare for the lawsuits.
  23. I assume any head coach at any big time football/basketball university is a jackass. Some are just better at covering it up, or at least know where to draw the line.
  24. "From the outside looking in, you can't understand it."
  25. Next interview with ESPN Zach's gonna claim the real abuser is still out there, and now that he's free of his job at tOSU, he'll dedicate the rest of his life to finding them and bringing them to justice.
