  1. Fuck em both. UNC player puts both hands on his back to delay the Duke guy from getting up/shoves him back to the court, Duke player with the blatant trip. Call double techs or don't call anything (they didn't call anything).
  2. Even Saban had to severely cut back on the dictatorial attitude the last couple years given the options available to players. Has Bieniemy shown any awareness that his current tough guy bullshit isn't going to work anymore?
  3. Fucking hell, Romo and company doing their best to prop up Purdy when Kittle and Jennings did 80-90% of the work on those plays. Yes, Purdy stood in the pocket through the rush...which is what you'd expect from all competent NFL starters. Jennings was open on the slant and then broke tackles to get the TD. Kittle made the 1st down with the extra effort/stretch on the earlier play.
  4. 49ers deserve to lose if Shanahan spends the rest of this game trying to prove Purdy is "the guy" instead of running CMC into the ground.
  5. Was the Warren-to-starter move permanent or just a short-term thing at the end of the season? If Warren's still the backup, Smith's weird preference of giving the backup more carries might work out for the better.
  6. 50+ I can maybe see going for it there. Inside 50 gotta give the kicker a chance.
  7. By product of the media hyping him up as a MVP candidate most of the season. On his best days right now, he's peak Alex Smith with the 49ers/Chiefs, not Peyton Manning/Tom Brady. And when he does crash and burn, they automatically fall back on the draft pick/years status. Can't have it both ways.
  8. Lamar Jackson = Joel Embiid. Individual hardware, unquestionably worthy of being the franchise player, never seems to be "the guy" you can count on in the later rounds of the playoffs.
  9. Dallas and Philly are currently in a historic offseason of "hold my beer" coaching decisions. New York and Washington will be competing for the division crown next season at this rate, personnel be damned.
  10. His followers don't need proof of anything other than him proclaiming it to be true. If he were to win the upcoming election, he'll do his best to give himself a lifetime get out of jail card irrespective of however many civil/criminal trials he's involved in and whether or not he's found guilty. He's not playing 4D chess. He hires people who do/say what he wants. It just doesn't work as well when he can't pay the judge and jury as well.
  11. Eagles waited till the Bills/Chiefs game to announce Sirianni fired Dasai. Didn't think the Philly ownership would be as dumb as Jerry and retain their coach after that collapse.
  12. Peak Phillip Rivers and the San Diego Chargers 2.0. Mahomes, Lamar, and Burrow are the new Brady, Manning, and Big Ben that will cockblock Allen for the rest of his prime.
  13. Manziel owes his Heisman and brief NFL career to Mike Evans.
  14. Screw it, sign Dak to a max extension and kill any sliver of hope for the rest of the decade.
  15. Depends alot on what he thinks of Hurts. Belichick didn't want to pay prime Tom Brady a max/full market value because it would eat up too much cap, now he's gonna be cool with Jalen Hurts and that $255 million contract kneecapping the payroll for the foreseeable future?
  16. Does it really matter though? Steelers weren't/aren't making any noise in the playoffs with their qb situation. The slightly higher draft pick probably won't matter much, but the odds of it helping out long term are better than the odds of winning more than 1 round in the playoffs.
  17. So based on the results this year with Dobbs and Browning, they should start Rudolph the last two weeks of the regular season, then if they sneak into the playoffs, bench Rudolph for the next practice squad guy.
  18. Florida and Clemson both have 3 titles and more wins than FSU. Do either of those usually get recognized as a Blue Blood?
  19. At the very least this makes the cowards go on public record (again) backing their orange god.
  20. They definitely want him fired. There's a long list of teams that could have justifiably quit this season and instead kept going. Just off the top of my head, Bengals after Burrow went down, Vikings after Cousins went down and Jefferson was out for most of the season, the Giants, not so much because they miss Daniel Jones but Tommy DeVito was their next option, or the Jets each time their ownership foists Zach Wilson on them. Only the Chargers immediately and completely gave up.
  21. Mahomes just now complaining about how the refs are supposed to warn them first before making the call with 1 minute left in the game. What kind of bullshit logic isnthat? So now we can wait till the end of the 4th quarter to commit a blatant penalty and the refs are supposed to swallow the whistle because they didn't warn us throughout the game?
  22. Non-PPR, Gibbs at Chicago or Hubbard at New Orleans? Seems like Dan Campbell has slowly but surely tiled the distribution back to Montgomery vs a timeshare, while Hubbard got the workhorse treatment last week after Reich got fired.
  23. 2012 is really tough to beat. Manziel got the award for throwing up prayers to Mike Evans all season and getting bailed out and Manti Te'o was the only guy without shouting distance of him in Heisman points.
