  1. Not unless there's a bunch of Tyreek Hill/Antonio Brown off-the-field issues that surface. If he succeeds, it will be because the Colts managed to correct his mechanics and footwork. I'm all for NFL franchises becoming more competent at developing the QB position so we get more high-ceiling guys at the position instead of trotting out Gardner Minshew to dink and dunk down the field.
  2. New plan for getting rid of Putin. Fly him to Omaha right now and have a LSU fan challenge him to a jello shot drink off. He'll die of alcohol poisoning.
  3. Does Boston not recall game 6 for them last series? Philly fucked around for 90% of the game while Tatum was complete ass and got burned. Boston should be up 10-12+ at least, given how bad Jimmy and Bam have been.
  4. No one's ever confused the general pool of NBA players, or any pro sports players for that matter, with being rhodes scholars. But if nothing else, they generally seem to have a grasp of what it takes to stay out of the news off the court to keep the big paychecks coming until they physically break down.
  5. Wow, thought for sure he was getting the Heat - Knicks game so everyone could hype up game 7 at THE GARDEN.
  6. And that's despite Miami going 7-32 from 3. Wasted opportunity for NY to at least make it competitive and get some confidence.
  7. Desmond Ridder (Cinci QB). He perfectly serviceable to hand the ball off or throw to Drake London/Kyle Pitts.
  8. Nah, Falcons will have Bijan, Allgeier, and Patterson next year. And Allgeier is signed through '25. Even with a rush-heavy attack they shouldn't have to run Bijan into the ground.
  9. KAT is what he is at this point. Minny just gotta hope he doesn't go downhill so quickly they can't foist him off on a GM as stupid as theirs.
  10. Clippers only have Kawhi and PG locked in for next season (player option the following year). Are they dumb enough to give Russ a multi-year deal given those circumstances?
  11. Bucks shitting the bed here. At least make it close enough to force Butler back onto the court for a few minutes.
  12. And somehow that Duncan Robinson contract might be even worse for Miami.
  13. He's got plenty of time to cash in. Shaka cashed in on that Final Four appearance 5 years later.
  14. Agree on the options. Are of them are slanted one way. I get not wanting to CR it up, but there's no need to go out of your way to pacify one side, i.e. "No, but not against it." Just stick to yes/no or purely situational. Yes. All the time. Yes, but not all the time. No, but have one/more in the house/car. No. That's it.
  15. Kind of loaded options there. "No, I'll take my chances if something happens?" Way to present the option as you're taking some moderate chance of something bad happening because you don't have a firearm with you. Going by that type of logic, I should put a roll cage in the car because otherwise "I'll take my chances if something happens."
  16. To be fair, it's not like the "calories in < calories out fatass" crowd is completely wrong...they're just not helpful at all when they try to present it so simplistically. Yes, you will lose weight if you ate less calories/better and exercised more. That doesn't cover a wide variety of shit like what calories you are consuming, and as you and others have pointed out, also eating enough calories so that your body doesn't go into survival mode and hoard every single calorie because you're running a huge deficit. That includes being able to snack sometimes if you are legitimately hungry, just make sure it's something healthy and not some chips/candy.
  17. Starvation also isn't a long term solution, or even middle term solution because it's so disheartening to be hungry all the time and because you're on one of those plateaus you still don't drop much, if any weight. No one's going to put up with being hungry/starving all the time even if they see some weight loss, let alone if the number isn't moving.
  18. No carbs or sugar there. Fred also worked in a rock quarry all day, threw another rock around whenever he went bowling, and had to run with that stupid car to get it started. And he still wasn't skinny.
  19. Basketball fans in America: "I love March Madness!* *So long as it doesn't last more than 3 rounds and doesn't effect my team. Because then I refuse to watch and will make fun of ratings.** **Previous 3-round rule not in effect if it gives my team a championship on a silver platter.
  20. To be honest, I have no idea. I don't know exactly when each school got it's Blue Blood status. I just know that by the time I was old enough to understand the concept of Blue Blood schools in a sport (mid-to-late 90s), UCLA, Duke, Kentucky, Kansas, and Indiana were generally considered to be in that tier. Personally, I don't really consider UCLA or Indiana Blue Bloods right now. But that's probably not a widely held opinion. To me, they're something like "Blue Bloods in hibernation" or "Legacy Blue Bloods." They need another title from this century to get that full status restored.
  21. Maybe, but Blue Bloods are basically established via titles, not final fours, correct? Duke for example had a number of final fours in the 60s, 70s, and 80s, but they didn't get Blue Blood status until K won multiple (3+) titles. UCLA was THE Blue Blood by the time Wooden left, but have 1 title in 48 years since then, along with 4 other final four appearances. Would anyone say that gets a school Blue Blood status? If so, Syracuse is also a Blue Blood since Boeheim matched that in his tenure.
  22. I'd say yes. 5 titles with 3 different head coaches in that scenario. Some bluebloods *cough, UCLA, cough* have done virtually nothing outside of one coach despite being given ample time.
  23. Well yeah, I wouldn't expect UConn to be beating anyone else going forward by 30+ points with over 5 minutes left.
  24. Please give Timme another easy dunk right here so he can talk shit again.
  25. History repeating itself indeed. Gonzaga beats UCLA on a miracle/bad shot, the media starts saying this might be their year, then they promptly get the shit kicked out of them the next game.
