  1. Vingegaard seems unbothered by these attacks but how many times can he match it? Hincapie was talking about this the other day, how young riders try to attack and it fails and they so stop trying. But it's all part of the process. If your first 9 attacks don't work but the 10th one does... then the first 9 worked after all. I think V stays with him all day today, but it'd be a lot more interesting if I'm wrong.
  2. It's on. This next hour should be entertaining.
  3. I mean, I guess it is a tactical mistake, but I don’t think it was because he didn’t realize he needed to go earlier. I think he knew he needed to make that move much earlier but he’s just completely cooked. Vingegaard is just the better rider at the moment.
  4. Nail in the fucking coffin. Today has to be considered a loss for Pogochar. I don’t think it was necessarily a tactical mistake, I think he knew when he needed to go and he just didn’t have the legs to do it. He’ll gain some in the time trial but not nearly enough.
  5. That’s a great quote. 90% of the jackoffs that write over-analyzed sports articles could just publish that instead and get the same point across.
  6. You can stream Peacock for a month. $10 I think. I got it for the TdF.
  7. I hit 54 going down the big hill on 2222 once back in the 90’s. I was scared shitless. Wondering if a helmet would even do any good, wondering what a front tire puncture would do to me, wondering if that vibration is road pebbles or the bike about to come apart, wondering if I’ll randomly lose my grip when I reach for the brake lever, etc… Never went anywhere close to that speed again. These days the high 30s fulfills that adrenaline fix.
  8. The other thing to keep in mind is comparing QBs year for year. Nobody is going to beat the 2005 version of VY, but lots can be as good as the 2003 version of VY. When VY was at the same stage as Quinn Ewers right now, he was unable to beat out Chance Mock on the depth chart.
  9. Eddie would fucking wreck Emmanuel. https://www.surlyhorns.com/board/topic/20205-22-of-men-incl-kevin-dont-realize-that-a-chimp-would-fucking-wreck-them/?do=findComment&comment=3711249
  10. Did you bring a shit stick?
  11. I like how Strickland has asked for the $450k back. Yeah, the crazy ex who killed your side piece and now has a huge legal defense bill accumulating is going to hand that right back over to you.
  12. "This guy here is dead." "Check him out early then."
  13. Divorce will be cheaper. And you’ll eat better.
  14. Strickland… What a fucking idiot. Who the fuck gives a girlfriend 450k?
  15. They are going to use your basement to shoot porn. Your contract should ask for royalty rights.
  16. W/D is something I always go shamelessly cheap on. It’s a tub that fills with water and agitates the clothes? What bells and whistles are really necessary? Dryer is even simpler. The set I have now conveyed with the house and I’m not even sure what brand they are. I can tell they were cheap though, basic look, not many settings… My clothes are as clean as anyone else’s. The set I had before that was an LG I bought on Craigslist for $150. The guy I bought them from said his wife wanted a stainless set. He seemed to questioning his whole marriage over that but the new set was coming so he needed the hideous white ones gone. I had them for a hassle-free 10 years and conveyed them with the house I sold. No way would I spent a grand on a set of machines that get hidden in the laundry room.
  17. All chaps are assless, by definition.
  18. I took the results of one of those full panels from Quest to my doctor one year and he said 3/4 of it was irrevelant crap that he never would have ordered and that you can't really glean any real data about your health from. The lab at his office is a little more expensive per test, but factoring in the fewer number of tests my doctor actually cared about made it significantly cheaper to just stay in-house.
  19. 6th St. became shitty and dangerous when you were about 27 years old, regardless of what year that was. It's the same rule of Austin being "not what it used to be", which always happens when you turn 35 whether that was in the 1970's or the 2020's or anytime in between.
  20. Switzerland: Interlaken and Grendelwald area. Took my kids there a few years ago and loved it so much more than every big European city I’ve been to.
  21. I’d give my left arm if people would quit doing that.
  22. I’ve been in a couple of airports whose city governments still require masks after the federal mandate ended and those local orders have been completely ignored by almost everyone, with hardly a mention that I’ve seen. Philly, LAX, and the two NYC airports claim to require them. I’d have one with you if you pass through there, but don’t expect much push back if you don’t wear it.
  23. ^ The grin in your avatar completes it.
