I had a $50 gift card for my birthday and randomly stopped in a liquor store on the south side of SA. They had a bottle for $180 which is the cheapest I've seen it in the GSA area. I probably over paid but I'm glad to read your comment.
He was the HC at UTSA before Taylor, and a grade A prick by all accounts. He is, or at least was, a tremendous recruiter though. Can't say much about his actual coaching but what I do know is he's been accused of sexual harassment and not worth the headache.
I get what your saying, and 100% agree, but this is such a supremely dickheaded way of commenting about a Longhorn that has given his body and apparently career to play here.
I could understand going to UNC if you were native there, but a kid from bama voluntarily going to to that dumpster fire with no positive outlook in the near future is very strange
Filsaime has been late breaking off his initial read to go help the cb over the top several times since Taafe's injury. The db's play dumb, soft coverage that qb's have absolutely abused in the last three games
The horizontal shoulder stripes are fucking terribad I don't care if it's a throwback thing or not.
They have a not-awful standard solid maroon jersey and white pants and should keep it that way, as long as they lose in it.
Bumped to say my first visit was indeed rectified by my visit today to 2M.
The brisket was about as perfect as brisket gets. Perfectly cooked, the bark was thick and flavorful and tender as can be. I will dream good dreams. I get it. Top notch, no notes.
This kicks 2M only slightly above Reese Bros only bc I belive the flavor and thickness of Reese's bark could be developed a bit more. All other metrics remain even.
I'm convinced I caught 2M on an off day. Brisket was dry AF when I went there for lunch a a few weeks ago. Waited about 40 mins in line and was stoked when I finally got to sit down and see what the hype was about. I had a sad.
I'll give them another go soon bc I know that what I got wasn't even close to what I've heard they can do.
This is hysterical coming from a Kerr county native. That's literally all yall do with the flags, bumper stickers, yard signs and local government. You don't love everyone so let's just stop with that.
Wife (no pics) is from Kerrville and we're there visiting her parents once or twice a month for the last 18 years. As you can guess, it's mostly white with Hispanic not far behind. Some asian and very few blacks.
If golf is your thing it's heaven. Nice little downtown with quite a few neat micro breweries. The parks next to the Guadalupe make it easy to entertain yourself outdoors and the hills/scenery can't be beat and recreation and trails are plentiful. There are a fuck ton of retirees and olds in general that can't drive for shit but still try. Proximity to San Antonio makes it easy to have access to things you may not find in town but unless you feel the need to go to La Cantera or a Spurs game there's pretty everthing you'd need otherwise.
The people that work in hospitality tend to be friendly. The tex mex and bbq scene is poor. If you agree with, don't mind or don't care about the politics of the vast majority of the town, it is very nice slow paced place with great views that caters well to people in the later stages of life.
Holy shit, from down the article:
"The Hornets currently lead the nation with 50 transfer portal additions, including notable names like former Texas running back Savion Red, ex-Longhorn receiver Agiye Hall, and former Georgia and Arizona State quarterback Jaden Rashada."
