  1. Head coaching changes and\or coordinator changes always seem to start showing their worth after a few games or the halfway point of the season. That doesn't mean losses early on but that doesn't mean winning will be easy at the beginning either.
  2. Any of you ever use priceline for rentals? Though, I did just glance over there and prices are kinda reflecting what you are talking about. They used to offer 60% off, now 30%. Miss the days when you could name your own price.
  3. For those looking at this as a life lesson to pass on to your kid, good for you. Don't put it off, arm your self, and be present. For those looking at the government to step in and help, watch 'Crime of the Century' on HBO.
  4. Dude in Lubbock begs to differ. That shit bag that ran the pain clinics in SLC should be on death row.
  5. Wife and I got first rounds this past weekend. Pfizer for me, Moderna for her... Lady giving me the vaccine asked me, "Are you excited??!?" Told her, I am neither vehemently for or against the vaccine and to be quite honest, if it hadn't been for the fact that I was able to book an appt on the same day I started looking for an appt, I would have put it off longer. tl;dr - Said WTF and got vaccinated.
  6. Base running...how does it work? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  8. My first wife's mother passed away at the age of 60. She was survived by her mom (wife's grandmother) who was in her eighties. Needless to say, wife's grandmother was devastated. It struck me then and has stayed with me for 35 plus years how the loss of a child affects a parent no matter the age of child. God bless the Ehlinger family. On a side note, we can learn a lot about family and community by observing the responses from Jake's teammates. Beautiful and moving. As other's have pointed out, leave no "I love you"s or other kind words unsaid.
  9. That thought did cross my mind. Very convincing.
  10. Sorry, Snacks. Saw a friend of mine pass away from brain cancer a few years back. He was in home hospice care at the end surrounded by his family. Given the situation, I don't know what else he would have wanted other than to have his family by his side at the end. Right now, my (younger)son-in-law's mother is going through treatment for breast cancer. It is worth repeating... FUCK YOU!, Cancer.
  11. <Cry or Laugh? Both?>
  12. you would think as much as he works with electricity... he would learn some things about ...electricity.
  13. Hope it clicks at Indy for him. I always liked the way he carried himself when he was here. Too bad he hopped on the train as it was going off the tracks.
  14. To be clear...I want her to die horribly too.
  15. I would not be surprised if Lydia becomes a sympathizer to June's cause.
  16. I find it irritating that there are LEOs out that that don't know how to use their blinker(dang near stopped and turn blinker on) and\or don't use them at all. Saw both instances last night from the same Hays County Deputy coming back from Wimberley.
  17. To be quite honest, I would watch a show giving a 360 degree view of the cars just sitting there.
  18. Don't get me wrong... she was awful. I laughed when she died. When I saw Pacino in III, I was like... "Al...did you even watch I & II?"
  19. One might argue that Pacino as Michael Corleone in Godfather 3 was a miss. Watched pieces of I and II this weekend. Hit indeed.
  20. It's all about perspective... Obviously, if I prefer my own fortress of solitude and TBH... I still cringe about taking a crap in a bowling alley around 20 years ago(shudder). But given your choices of crapping in 5 gallon bucket, or a toilet seat chair over a hole in the ground for all mother nature to see, or a porta-potty... that porta-potty is gonna be like taking a dump at the Ritz. Just saying.
  21. Propane tank went empty on me few months back while I was cooking. Swapped the tank out opened the valve on the tank... lifted the lid and for some reason hit the ignitor.... FWOOOOM. Had left the valves open from when the tank ran out previously. Lost a little bit of facial hair.
  22. There is an IMDB blurb about - Mare and how Winslet would go back to her normal voice between takes and then turn her Pennsylvanian accent on when the cameras roll.
  23. At this point, I don’t care who starts. Both are better passers than what we have had in years. It will be the intangibles that make the difference. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Caught the 30 for 30 on the 85 Bears a week so ago. He was awesome in it. Piss on ALS, Cancer (looking at you Sweetness...)and any other illness that whittles you physically down to nothing.
