  1. This is true. And aggregates like USA Today's Cowboyswire and SI versions are often very critical, especially the local beat guys. But that's news. The sell fluff and outrage, and the Cowboys are like the ultimate giant attention magnet with Fluff / Outrage poles.
  2. Truth. Now go and get Cleveland's DC, maybe he understands how to use those tackles we payed out the ass for.
  3. I mean people acting like this was the Titanic of Cowboys seasons compared to...? Just a shit-ton of LOL at that.
  4. Pretty much as the same for the last 20 years or so. Somewhere around the middle, maybe in a fluke year stumble into a first round playoff loss
  5. They weren't the Cowboys. They all had young rising talent. And they didn't have Jerry Jones running shit.
  6. It was a shitass season, but when you put it in the perspective of the first year of a new regime, really about what one should expect. They weren't gonna win shit.
  7. I just don't think Guyton is a left tackle, and probably a marginal right tackle. Might even be a better guard than tackle. They may have to take an LT with an early pick, unfortunately, despite all the major needs on D. I think Steele is gone, despite the dead cap it will cost them. His contract was a disaster. Maybe they pick up an older tackle in free agency at a modest salary that still has something left in the tank. At RB I don't want to overpay Javonte, either, but he is the only real veteran presence that is a do it all kind of guy they need, including pass protection, which is a huge deal. It's hard to trust young guys. We'll have to see what the market is on him, but it may very well be too high. They need to get a pick for Turpin, who is a luxury guy that doesn't deliver enough for his salary. But there should be teams that feel they need guy like that. If Blue is on the roster, he probably takes the KR role. It's just a shame how many middle round picks the shit away for basically nothing in return for most of them.
  8. Atlanta winning would help pick up one more tick. Other than that not much else to effect the Cowboys first pick. Green Bay mainly matters if they get knocked out in the first round of playoffs. If they somehow get a win that cost several spots update: Falcons win, so Cowboys currently have the 12th overall pick. Miami would have to beat New England to improve one more spot.
  9. OK... That's one small step backward for season. One giant leap for draft time. Let's goooo!!! Giants could go from 2 to about 6 or 7. Nicely played.
  10. And nowhere near enough draft capital or cap space to address all that. If they do it right, they need to trade down the Packers first round pick to pick up some extra picks in rounds 2,3,4 ish range where they have decent chance to get safeties, LBs that can start and improve the roster. Biggest problem is they also need a good left tackle because they fucking blew it with Guyton.
  11. Mafah looks strong. RB situation gonna be interesting next year.
  12. Packers behind Vikes 13-0 at the half. You hate to see it...
  13. Shoulda ran a play there. No reason to play conservative there.
