  1. Bullshit again, he's stopped before going out of bounds and they stop the clock. So consistently bullshit against the Cowboys.
  2. Was that a smart play by the db to burn a couple more seconds by not touching until he tried to get up?
  3. Gonna need another Parsoning to close this one.
  4. Whole left side of the field is an empty pasture, and they throw deep. Seems like it should have read to come back shorter or something. No reason to throw a hail mary on 3rd and long.
  5. That kinda seemed like a dangerous throw by Dak there. But it worked out.
  6. Just for clarification, the Bullet is not in this video. But it may have the same body thickness as the Affinity, I don't know. The bullet has string through the body like the classic vibe and Players. My main grip about the Bullet was the unfinished look of the neck, almost like a fresh piece of lumber where you could hardly even feel any lacquer. Frets, of course, are a bit rough, but get better with playing. Not perfect, but certainly good bang for the buck.

    Chicago

Best bratwurst I ever had was on the Navy Pier. That's the real shit. They also had a kickass jazz band playing out there. Nice way to spend an afternoon. That was back in the 90s, so it may be shitty by now, like everything else.
  8. The NFL screwed it up when they went to 8 divisions instead of 6. But That's what they want. They don't care about the integrity of the game any more. They want the most teams to have hope of getting into playoffs so fans of shitty teams will keep watching and buying $50 t-shirts.
  9. I have a Squier Bullet Tele in that color that I paid $125 for new. Plays pretty good, fun guitar for a banger. They're up around $200 now. But I like the bullet better than the other cheap Squiers because it has the string through body bridge.
  10. You can still get the Lake Placid blue Players series Tele from Adorama for $650, or wait a week or two for last minute Christmas sales and see if it goes back on for $549.

    Chicago

Early Chicago albums can take a few spins to digest. They are a bit concepty, or just stream of thought jammy type stuff in between the hit singles. Wake Up Sunshine is another one of my favorite Chicago tunes, and The Road is snappy and has a good vibe. I think the albums are more about the journey and the sound of the horns with the soulful vocals, stoned hippie poetry type stuff. The non-single form of "Make Me Smile" is actually part of a medley of a bunch of songs strung together, including Colour My World, before it was cut down for radio. But I agree somewhat that "Colour" isn't that interesting. I used to get tired of people who couldn't actually play piano trying to play that simple part on piano.
  12. A little of both, and Dak made a great throw there, and a few other times. But that's the problem with what they do in the passing game. The margin for error is razor thin. It's not going to work consistently enough to succeed at a playoff level against better teams.
  13. Moore was the pet of Scott Linehan in Detroit before both were run out of town because the offense was so overly predictable. Dallas got Linehan as OC and brought midget boy wonder with him to run the same boring shit. It worked when they went really run heavy behind a great offensive line, but they got figured out and got away from the run. Then Garrett promoted Moore. Kellen has never studied under an offensive brain, or had multiple gurus to learn from. I don't know where Jerry got the idea he was a lock to be the future of NFL offenses, but that's what we've been stuck with. I'm sure after the season we will be hearing again from the opponent's D how they were calling out our plays before every snap.
  14. Why does he hate Canada? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Bugaboos
  15. Shittiest service of any major chain, as well. They seem to hire regards as a company policy.
  16. I wish Dak would spend the entire offseason working on lofting touch throws over DBs instead of forcing low bullet passes through three defenders on the way to the intended receiver. And Kellen Moore should spend the same on scheming stuff like that better. And it preceded Dak. Too many tight spaces, not enough timing, getting iso one-on-one stuff.
  17. You never can tell, a lot of things have to align for player success. It's not always that simple. I don't think many people thought Noah Brown would be as good a receiver as he has been this season when he was fully healthy and had to play a larger role. Same kind of thing. Tua isn't the same type of passer that Dak is, either, not better or worse, but different style.
  18. Right. The moves that the Cowboys made or didn't make, that triggered so many fans into convulsion, tended heavily to be the correct moves. Still, the lack of a legit swing tackle was probably the worst one, but that one is sort of working out so far, knock on wood. Could use a receiver, but Gallup is starting to look more like his better version, and hopefully Washington can contribute something, now supposedly TY Hilton is another option until he inevitably gets hurt.
  19. Sunday Ticket is awesome today. Choice of 3 afternoon games, and two of them are blacked the fuck out. The Bucs game is on the local channel, but the KC game is somehow fucked because the local network that is supposed to be carrying them chose to show informercials all day instead of football.

    Houston @ Dallas

They could have run another 30 seconds off the clock as well instead of calling the TO.

One more play for the Landry shift.

All these shitty refs have dramatically varying definitions of stopped forward progress. That clock should have kept rolling.
