Im a little perplexed by taking Devin this early when we have some other guys out there, but Jordan is a monster.
I was passively listening to gerrys interview with all 3. I think Devin is the one who has played every position on the line. That may be some of his allure as a prospect.

I appreciate the discussion in this, and to Immamac for weighing in. I guess when I heard that the $20m was a hard limit, I assumed that it would just turn into black market payments. Definitely makes sense that NIL will still just be the icing on the cake with athletes getting compensated directly from the school as well. Uncharted territory for sure. I do agree that I feel like there will be less parity, though it feels like its largely been the BIG10 and the SEC at the top for the longest time. The only interesting games we were getting were the odd week 5 upset.

Means the schools can pay players and Collectives and sponsors are still gonna pay players. Good news for us imo
Not to be contrarian, but the things I've read about this settlement is that what your describing can't happen. I would also be interested in one of our resident NIL experts to weigh in as well. From what I've read, its 20m in total for every student athlete at the university, but that it's capped and they can't receive any additional compensation past that. While it's still good for us, I'd appreciate any additional clarity.

I was able to watch the OTF interview with Fasusi. He lit up when talking about Texas. Though he had good things to say about Bedenbaugh at OU so maybe taking him at his words isn't the best.

Does anyone have this? I get the feeling it's in regards to Brandon Brown since Wells reposted it.

CJ/OTF:
Texas will host San Jose State CB Jayvion Cole for a visit Thursday he confirms with OTF.
Cole tells me the trip to Austin will be his first visit since entering the portal Monday afternoon.
Auburn is another team that is expected to receive a visit, though no date has been set at the moment. Cole also mentioned he is unsure if he will visit Michigan State, despite receiving an offer from the Spartans this morning.
Cole saw 672 snaps last year for SJSU where he allowed 22 receptions on 48 targets for a 45.8% completion percentage. The 5-foot-11 cornerback also hauled in three interceptions and allowed just one touchdown on the season.

The dude is 6'6" 320 and moves his feet well in space and has a mean streak. He has average technique and needs to improve in strength and conditioning. Unless he gets injured, he will be good.

seemingly doesn't bode well for Mitchell.
Also worth noting. Michigan WR Cristian Dixon just hit the portal. Maybe the flood gates are about to open up there. -
