My oldest son was riding in the car with me and I made a hard right turn after swinging wide to avoid hitting a curb.  My son said, "Mom always hits the curb when she makes a turn like that."  Me:  "I know.  It's a chick thing."  Him:  "Girls hit curbs?"  Me:  "Yeah, it's like a thing."

Phoenix has a very flawed roster and the last thing they needed was an injury to Allen. But let’s see what happens when they get home. It always amazes me how much better the role players play at home in the playoffs vs on the road.

I feel like they could give Bol Bol a little run. He had some really impressive games in the regular season.

And unlike last year, you are playing an inexperienced Minnesota team who could get rattled losing 2 in a row unlike Denver.

I agree it's a different matchup but Minny is really good.

    They have no depth, none.

Their depth looks better when their best player isn't complete ass. Booker needs to be better - it's basically that simple. When he's playing well they have enough on their roster to win playoff games.

brought in his friend washed DeAndre Jordan at the expense of Jared Allen,

Um. No. They traded JA to get Harden. And likely would have won the title in '21 if Kyrie doesn't get hurt.

then signed off on going all in on Bradley fucking Beal and his redundant skillset at the expense of any and all depth.

Beal didn't cost them any depth. It cost them picks and a luxury tax bill. PHO depth is better this season than it was last season. With a straight face you're going to tell me you'd take CP, Ayton and Shamet over Beal, Nurkic and Allen? They won 4 more games than they did last season against a tougher conference.

i.e. you have no idea what you're talking about. Congrats.

your worst opinion out of all the posts you’ve ever made.

I like Dunkirk - I just meant in the context of Nolan's catalogue. It isn't one of my favorites from him.

this thread has also learned me that people didn’t like the dark knight rises.  I thought it was great; bane was awesome.

I watched TDKR recently for the first time in awhile. I have a similar opinion of it and Interstellar - I enjoyed them both immensely when they came out - but they're both a little long, plodding and goofy at times imo and I find them a little less rewatchable than my favorites. They're in my 3rd "Nolan tier" just below his top 5 for me, and I think he's made 8 or 9 really good movies.

I mean - if I'm flipping through channels and any of those 9 are on TV I'm probably putting them on and watching the rest.

Announcer talk: Reggie is getting worse. Does he actually prepare for these games, or just spout colloquialisms?

He's so fucking bad. I don't understand what exec at TNT listens to him call games and thinks "Yes. This is what the people want."

He just doesn't shut the fuck up, ever. He runs his mouth the entire game and talks over the pbp and the atmosphere.

OKC will win the series but it'll be ugly as all of their games with NO are.  NO is just long, big, and physical, with or without Zion and that's a bad matchup for OKC but they just have the better players.  The Clippers are actually a better matchup.  They might have an easier time with them.  They'd lose in like 5 games to Denver is my guess.

I thought more so than the matchup issues the lack of experience is what kept it tight in the 4Q. SGA especially fucked up a ton of possessions the last 5 or 6 minutes. Against a better team that's going to get them beat - we'll see how quickly they can learn and adjust.

The D was good all game and really came in clutch - especially thar block by Chet.

So, some friends brought these over last week…and they’re maybe the best store bought tortilla chips I’ve ever had. Super crunchy, but not hard/tough, and a perfect saltiness. My wife and I are both sold - these will be our go-to chip going forward.

I think some white guys bought it out and they're selling stuff in stores with the brand as well as keeping the restaraunt alive.

This could be a tough series for okc. The Pels have some really solid perimeter defenders in Murphy and especially Jones, and then Valancunius is a load underneath. This isn’t a great matchup for the Thunder. It would be much worse if Zion were healthy.

Maybe - but we'll see if NOLA can keep up with these young bucks for 48 mins every night.
