  1. How far would they drop IU if they get blown out is a good question because it should have the same ramifications for Bama if they get blown out.
  2. More evidence this committee is full of crap
  3. Nah, screw Baylor and Tech and any member of the RIg 12 when we left that crapshoot. Now Colorado, Arizona, ASU would be ok.
  4. Yet. The ant hill that Texas should make into a mountain is if Bama gets pounded by a similar score by UGA than we did and they put a three loss team in saying the loss was in a conference championship game so it’s given special consideration. Meanwhile if Duke wins the ACC CCG and is not given a seat at the table, then the standards for the CCG are beneficial for one team and not for another will need to be pointed out . I mean Bama didn’t exactly earn their way straight into the CCG anyway. They got in thanks to a series of events which the main one was we beating aggy.
  5. Yes and it will be interesting to see how they treat this if they get trucked by UGA.
  6. And there we have it…. But let’s ignore Bama lost to Florida State who (let me check) lost to Florida last week and OU who I think Texas beat? Am I right?
  7. Damn I miss this man. Imagine what he’d say today abut this committee.
  8. And look at their future schedules. This is exactly who should get called out when discussing SOS, playing up in OCG , etc https://fbschedules.com/ncaa/indiana/
  9. Ryan Day isn’t going to do this. He’s sitting pretty up in Columbus and will be for the foreseeable future. The only way anything fucks up Ohio St right now is if somehow Indiana throttles them on Saturday and they drop out of the top four. That ain’t going to happen.
  10. We are going to bend over Ohio State next September in Austin. Mark it down.
  11. And just skated by a 5-7 Auburn team that came in 13th place in the SEC. I mean that should be noted after they noted that we barely skated by MSU and UK. But the fricken Chair of the committee made it sound like it was a hard fought win by might Bama on Saturday over a legit Auburn team. That alone should disqualify every member on that committee if they REALLY thought this.
  12. We need to keep the Ohio St and Michigan games. Keeping them mitigates the we are chicken shit to play them because we are afraid of a loss which will be the media driven spin But for all means yes to cancelling the Norte Dame games and the primary thing front and center is rest of the SEC and B10 for that matter need to quit giving them legitimacy until they join a real conference and have to go through the same rigors associated with this
  13. That would be ideal. But the thing we all need to understand is Norte Dame could play a schedule full Mountain West and what will be the new PAC 12 teams and still lose one or two and get into whatever playoff scenario. It’s a media driven and 1% type thing that Norte Dame gets preference. They try to do same damn thing for USC until they can’t. Ditto for Michigan until they can’t. If Northwestern had a good team, they’d get love too. These schools is where many in the media and power centers went to school.
  14. I mean Disney/ESPN hasn’t exactly been the model of a very profitable media company as of late. They are making their bed….
  15. Of course not. Because one they would have to discuss SOS and the fact Texas beat two of the teams ranked above them who beat another two teams that are in front of Texas. (aggy over ND and Ou over bama).
  16. Booger…. Bama LOST to OU you fat fucker OU lost to Texas.
  17. And the Committee thought ND looked strong on the road against a 4-7 Stanford Go fuck yourself Yuracuck!
  18. This clown actually said Bama played a strong game against Auburn. Did they actually watch the close shave Bama received and was only bailed out by the SEC Refs? This committee is truly fucked.
  19. The active AD thing is very questionable considering how many around college athletics have made some questionable decisions affecting their own institutions. And costly ones at that.
  20. I’ve wondered where they stood in the NIL world. Ironically I wonder if the NFL being back in LA has hurt USC in the sense they are no longer the football team in LA that got the attention from commercial concerns. Sorry to our @Sbbruin on here if I slighted UCLA in this discussion.
  21. But how would they treat a beatdown by UGA on Saturday vs the the 3 point Bama win from two months ago? I mean someone looking at their body of work can suggest they kind of slid downward as the season progressed losing to OU and then squeezing out victories from bottom dwellers like Auburn and South Carolina. We are being told yea remember those close OT games against MSU and UK? Their body of work SHOULD be held to the same standard, but it's not and if UGA does truck them it won't
