In fairness, the comparison holds equally for the Clintons, Sandy Occassional-Cortex, Fauxchahontas, and almost every politician.

It sounded like the Netflix one was funded (partly) by the social media promotion company, which is likely why it goes so hard into him to deflect blame from anyone else involved. The Hulu one features the promotion leader from that company, apparently they have parted ways, which would explain why it puts more blame on others. Interesting question is how much culpability financiers, promotion partners, advertisers, etc., should face in these situations? Where is the line? Feels like those guys should have been pretty clear it was not going to work, which seems like a ethical point at which to say "we're out."

I think most phone apps are stupid. Five years ago, I could pay for everything with my Amex online. Now I have to download 100 stupid ass apps and joint 100 stupid ass corporate pay sites. Does no one remember 1975 when people had 50 credit cards - one for every store. Someone said, this is inefficient and narrowed it down to 3.5 (sorry Terry, you don't count).
  6. #getoffmyyard ... But a significant part of the world's outrage (student loans anyone) is from people who willfully agree to something and then get pissy when what they agreed to actually is real. #millenials
  7. I mean my grandpa did the door-string trick when I was a kid ... https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-england-cornwall-47010049?fbclid=IwAR2y9pIX8tqnKTpVRhbPPckR-BXL1KKRb-nw_dOspqQW8Ummf_pnN5P6oII A man has claimed he pulled out one of his own teeth after waiting more than 18 months to find an NHS dentist. David Woodhouse, 62, from Truro, said he had been unable to find a NHS surgery in Cornwall. An NHS emergency treatment centre offered to extract the tooth in December 2018 but Mr Woodhouse said that would not deal with his long-term problem with a dental plate. Three weeks later he took out the tooth himself with a pair of pliers. Mr Woodhouse said: "I had a loose one and it was causing me a little bit of pain, so I got the needle-nose pliers and out it came. "I could have had the tooth extracted but what I need is a term of treatment from the dentist." NHS England encouraged those in need of urgent dental care to contact its emergency helpline. The British Dental Association said NHS dental care was "increasingly a postcode lottery" with problems across the country. Healthwatch Cornwall, the county's health watchdog, said access to NHS dentists was the number one issue people contacted them about. It said some people had been waiting more than three years to register with a dentist.

I think I have come to realize that 75% of the U.S. is comprised of morons ... which tribe they decide to join is a a function of proximity or randomness.
  9. Darwinism is a good thing. Fewer duck-face millenial eco-warriors is not a bad thing.

Preparing to get lashed but same here. Completely lost interest when the cult leader showed up and just started doing other stuff.

George Hodel’s son wrote a book about his dad being TBD killer as well as some sex pervert-master-etc. I’m guessing that’s the tie-in ... the “black” chick somehow connects the stories. ?!?
  12. The real issue is that people give these lunatics press.
  13. Well, I do not support using kids for fake outrage regardless of alt left or alt right. Reasonable people should be able to stand above silly fake news outrage and stand for a principle. It would be refreshing if it ever happened, but we must feed to addiction to outrage no matter what the cost.
  14. Chuckle. CNN ran more than 64 fake news stories on the first day. Nothing like bullying teenagers to feed the outrage addiction.
  15. Don't apologize. Stupid people often use ad homs when they have not logical response.
  16. Fair enough. Those are the same scientists that predicted global cooling in 1970s and that global warming would wipe us out by 2010.
  17. I -> refers to the writer of the post think -> a verb that shows an expression of an opinion; in this case, the subject is the writer of the post so the writer is expressing an opinion most -> adjective describing a majority, which means > 50% of a population agree -> to believe the same thing about a topic (a verb) America -> a country in North America has -> third person indicative passive verb no -> a negative that negates indigenous -> an adjective describing a native people people -> plural of persons since -> preposition that indicates "because" everyone -> all people (noun) came -> verb that indicates movement to a place from another here -> current location from -> preposition that indicates something's origin somewhere -> a place unknown (noun) else -> different from the present Hope that helps.
  18. That's what I do not really get about the whole indigenous people bullshit. I think most everyone agrees America has no indigenous people since everyone came here from somewhere else. It seems really privileged and hateful of some of these so-called fake indigenous people to basically come to America and then want to close the door to everyone else that came after them.
  19. The book was fantastic. That gem stuck in my mind as well ... sort of goes against the fake news narrative of Murdoch as this svengali that controls this vast media messaging. I still cannot believe she was able to get so much money from so many people and have literally nothing ... I assume she had something but it just was not as good as advertised ... the only thing she had was an idea. #pussyisundefeated
  20. If privilege is white, why do some black people have it? https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2019/01/16/areva-martin-cnn-analyst-accuses-black-radio-host-white-privilege/2590841002/ ROTFLOL!
  21. Still waiting on your telling us about white privilege and how we didn't land on the moon.
  22. Silly pants, you cannot prove a negative. Tell us how it exists. Tell us how if white privilege exists why Asians and Indians are so over-represented in higher education and lucrative careers. Is there a brown privilege?
