  1. I stayed at Bellagio this past weekend (Friday-Monday). There was usually one $50 table, but the rest were $100, $300, $500, $1,000, and usually a couple of Reserved tables. I got to play with Offset (Migos rapper, formerly married to Cardi B) on Saturday night, and it was wild. They let him do whatever he wanted, including actually hitting the ceiling with the dice on one throw.

    Suits

I enjoyed it and watched it all the way through (+Pearson), but the first few seasons were definitely the best.
  3. Can someone explain how Lunardi has us as one of the Last Four In (11-seed) in his latest Bracketology? I know we don't really have any great wins yet, but our only 2 losses are to Top Ten teams?
  4. Is anyone else hearing Kelly is gonna hire Tom Herman as his OC at LSU?
  5. One of the contributing factors to the high number of players in the transfer portal is the extra year of eligibility due to Covid, so all those seniors who would've normally graduated/had their eligibility expire now are able to play another season, and many of them are choosing to play it somewhere else. Inevitably, a lot of these players aren't going to be able to find a new school who will take them, only to find out their old school already filled their spot.
  6. Hey Derka, can you post UT's KenPom breakdown? TIA
  7. Wow, I'm surprised Clark Kellogg picked us to come out of the East.
  8. No, please don't second guess yourself. Whether the parents on your team (or others) realized it, you were coaching it the best way not only for your team, but for the teams you were playing as well. Kids on both teams learn much less about basketball in 40-point games than they do in 10-point games, especially considering this was a 1st/2nd grade league. I've spent over half of my coaching career with select/AAU high school teams, but even then winning was never my top priority (unless we were at a national tournament with college coaches/scouts). Even at that level, my ultimate goal was getting the kids ready for their high school or future college seasons. In the end, the parents were one of the biggest reasons that led to my retirement, along with one of my players reaching the NBA, so I decided my bucket list was attained.
  9. Coming from someone who has coached all levels of youth basketball for the past 20+ years, I hate to hear that you quit, but thank you for your efforts. If there were more coaches like you, youth basketball (and youth sports in general) would be much better.
  10. My understanding is that the seatbelt rule applies to the entire coaching staff once any of that team's coaches receives a technical foul.
  11. Todd Orlando thought it was a great defensive call...
  12. Has anyone tried Urban Mattress? I've narrowed it down to them and Purple.
  13. Has anyone bought a mattress from Urban Mattress? I've narrowed my choices to them and Purple.

  15. I agree completely, and I'm interested to see how this all plays out.

  17. What should I expect to pay for a new S20?
  18. I was at the taping yesterday, and then at the afterparty with the Roots and the staff of the show at Native Hostel last night. They all really enjoyed Austin, and several extended their stay through the weekend to be able to enjoy the city more. I got asked for a lot of food recommendations.
  19. Thanks. I never received an email, but the opener played from 8-8:40, and then the main played from 9:20-10:40.
  20. I'm going to a concert at Emo's tonight. If the doors open at 7, what time should I expect the opener and the main to be on?
  21. Yes, I normally stay at Mirage, but Bellagio gave me 4 free nights and upgraded me to a fountain view room, so I couldn't turn it down. I'll definitely be staying there again soon.
  22. I had a great run at Bellagio this weekend. My last craps session, I was up to 240 on 6 and 8, 100 on 9, and 50 on 4 and 5. I finished up 1600 on that session, and just over 7K for the trip. One of the guys at the table who was betting huge (by the end, he had 500 on the pass line and 2K odds) cashed out for 25,700.
