  1. The best scenario is a complete knee.
  2. Do we need a new thread for fsu? Lolol
  3. Iowa state is gonna get run out of their own fucking stadium. Texas by murder.
  4. I mean it sounds like you lost a shitload of money because of shithead TSA because you missed your flights and couldn’t get rebooked or something? If you have a medical bag you should have for sure prepped for TSA anal cavity search. I still don’t understand how you are out 10 grand over one persons bag and that single person not making the flight - also how the fuck could you not just send someone to the gate? This just reeks of general incompetence in travel and not TSA fucking you up.
  5. Why did everyone stay behind instead of just whose bag they were going through? Seems like a bad call on your part.
  6. I’m just gonna step out on this one because you seem pretty emotionally invested in here and didn’t really read my reply right. It’s not that I think it’s not worth the discussion but I think it needs cool off before you will understand the point I was making. I respect the shit out of your takes and I’m not here trying to antagonize you or falsely equivocate things. We aren’t on opposite sides of these arguments as much as you may think.
  7. That's an impossible criteria. It's not a tangible or measurable thing. I think we are saying the same thing. The problem is that our policy of brutality doesn't care about anything but our primary objective which you stated. Americans in general have a hard time reconciling how different our military and economic complex is outside vs inside. Everyone is used to having their fee fees placated and they don't realize the clean kicks they have or the sweet phone they use is used by juicing laborers to death or in brutal conditions somewhere else.
  8. You do realize we (royal, USA) don't give a fuck about Israel or Palestine here right? We are trying to cool the jets from WWIII powder keg going off. Israel isn't some fucking awesome alliance it's a circumstance of necessity because there's a lot of countries in that region that are anti America and there was one government receptive to being not anti America. Israel also isn't broke and the war machine needs blood to run. We have the best war machine and it particularly loves blood of people who aren't ours. Also a great post. 10/10 would read again.
  9. @closetojumping how does it feel? Was it a sweat? @closetohumping you seem to have fucked up sir.
  10. You are literally making my point for me.
  11. It pisses me off that Savion red has thrown more passes than Roschon Johnson out of that formation.
  12. You can say all the things you want. I’ve seen enough to know Israel will never treat the people that live in Palestine as equals or true citizens of the country. It’s patently fucking absurd to claim otherwise at this point. show me an Israel that wants to fight for equal representation and rights and quality of life for its citizens in Gaza and Palestine and I’ll be open to a conversation.
  13. The US, much like Russia (also not clean, but not really "monsters" here outside of weird shit like bucha) had actual military objectives and a tangible end/measure of success/failure. What does success look like for Israel? What does it look like for Hamas? ^^This is the problem, there is no such thing as success. There is no end to the operation, there is no meaningful change to come.
  14. So 2 hot conflicts right now going on. ukraine is killing 1k/day and over 350k Russian casualties in ~18 months all dead on their dirt as invaders. Tons of Ukrainian casualties as well, but haven’t seen recent numbers. They are in all out war. israel is big mad (rightfully so) that 1400 people died in an attack that would be nearly impossible to replicate or pull off again by hamas(terrorists). In return they leveled parts of cities and have killed 10k+ of whoever the fuck because they are “all the same anyway.” whether Russia is right or wrong they are fighting a real war with real objectives, real casualties, real economic penalties and real sanctions. Ukraine is fighting for their existence and doing an admirable job with our aid with all the same real things. israel is doing none of those things. They are just talking shit and using everyone’s perceived hatred of the Jewish state to retaliate with an incredible amount of collateral damage on an objective they can’t clarify on success criteria. Hamas are straight up terrorists and their solution is “eradicate them!!” Which is fucking bogus. A real war would have the objective of taking over the area, expelling rebels and making the people of that area feel like they are safe and have opportunities in their homes and community. the nebulous answer if “but hamas is everywhere!” Is just an excuse to not fight a real war, but cause enough pain and try to find the leaders so that the people lose hope and subjugate themselves to Israeli rule and live as subhumans in their little part of the country. It’s absolutely fucking absurd.
  15. running through tackles and doing what Bijan Roschon and Jonathon do is totally different. They use the tackle anticipation to balance and explode out of the contact instead of against the contact or through it. Baxter is trying to be a wrecking ball.
  16. Idk that it’s the breaking tackles thing it’s that he doesn’t have contact balance like Roschon Bijan and Jonathon. Contact balance is a learnable thing, he doesn’t just fall down when touched, but he doesn’t use contact as an anticipatory trajectory change for balance. It’s like judo but for running backs. We just happened to have 3 contact balance black belts.
  17. I’m starting to think that neither side is taking this serious and they are just fucking around and causing as much emotional and physical pain and distress in some kind of global atrocity contest. They don’t want peace, it’s 2 extremist groups going at one another and every ounce of news or media that comes out of Israel is a psyop to convince people of their righteousness.
  18. 70 - 0 good guys 725 yards of total offense.
  19. I wouldn't even say they are really good at building infrastructure, but that's just me. Obviously they have built a colossal global footprint, but they haven't done it in a way that is envious, they just did it because they could justify it and had the capital from all the insane margins they make ripping off their customers. It's like saying someone is really good at highways when they are the only ones that get to charge tolls to build highways, it's actually a fine highway but if it was built better it would be an excellent highway type analogy. Problem is cars and people in them don't necessarily give a fuck how nice the highway is as long as they can drive on it when they need to.
  20. IDK how toxic it is overall, it's a gigantic company so there could be pockets of toxicity, it's not rotten to the core though as some other companies are. Their compensation is extremely competitive, with some significant tradeoffs that need to be made - overall giant tech company compensation isn't really outpacing everyone in the post-covid world, that was a big wakeup call to a lot of orgs when the great migration happened and everyone got mid-banded everywhere.
