Troy Aikman on the Ticket said that, in his opinion, 75% of the failed QB’s in the NFL could have been successful had they received coaching from someone who knew how to use their talents best.

It immediately caused me to think about Fisher/Young. He said that without Norv Turner Aikman would have busted out of the league within a few years.

It truly is terrible how Fisher mismanaged a QB who could have had a career like Lamar Jackson. It pisses me off every time I think about it.

Fisher acted like a petulant pussy child with VY.  I swear watching him with VY over the years, it sure looked like Fisher was deliberately cratering VY’s career.

I remember watching games where the Titans were doing great playing to VY’s strengths then it seems like Fisher realized he was helping VY’s career then went back to a power I formation.

VY should’ve been Lamar Jackson before Lamar Jackson.

The thing about Herbstreit is- his voice is no longer the pre-eminent one in college football. Joel Klatt knows the teams and games better than Herbstreit. Greg McElroy has passed him, too. Herbstreit is just the guy that has been around the longest. Congrats- he’s this era’s Chris Schenkel.

I’m surprised joel knows what year it is after the hits during the BIG 12 Championship in late 2004.  Nice recovery though, his football acumen is really good.

Yeah - not exactly the ringing endorsement they might think it is.

However, it least it was not "As an NFL QB coach, he worked with Art Schlichter, JaMarcus Russell, Todd Marinovich, and Rick Mirer."

What a special QB room reunion that would be!  For Art is gotta be in Las Vegas and Marinovich could hit ‘roides row with the gyms there and of course you gotta have plenty of purple drank there for JaMarcus.

Almost like trying to make VY a pocket passer? Thanks Jeff Fisher and early Greg Davis.

Living in Nashville since 1993, Jeff Fisher is a mother fucking cunt after what he did to VY while he was here.  VY had some issues sure but Fisher so hated VY and the fact that Bud Adams forced him to pick VY verses Matt Lienert, who he wanted, it seemed his purpose in life was to prove Bud Adams wrong and helped destroy the franchise and it's never recovered and now we are building a $2,000,000,000 stadium complex to lure the Super Bowl here.😑  Fisher the prick is still tied at number 1 with 165 losses and also has a whopping 51% winning percentage....fucker.

The fact that every penalty called on UGA in the first half was offset by a Texas penalty is convenient too.  At least for those who will not concede some funny business was at hand.  That gives them an out to say UGA was getting the attention of the Refs, but Texas was so penalty prone the Horns couldn’t use it them to their advantage.

I think this happened three times in the first half and none in the second half only because the Refs stopped flagging the holding that was supposedly prevalent in the first half by Texas that  was either fixed or just wasn’t being called anymore because Sark called it out at half.    But how many times in a typical game are penalties save for stuff like unsportsmanlike conduct offset?   How many times in a half of football does it occur if you want to zero in further.

He sure did!  That was hilarious when his comment mentioned that holding should go both ways.

I checked the roster and saw him, but the fact he isn't getting a shot this year tells me Sark/Banks think Bert is the one to roll with?

Sideshow has made some clutch FG's in the past, but he's been wildly inconsistent at times including this season, but this is the first game it's come back to bite us again. Of course he wasn't the only one to blame (plenty to go around) but making all his kicks yesterday greatly changes the game.

    Yeah, we win.

Every time I think I've hit the bottom today on TexAgs, they surprise me:

Mathew McConaughey allowed on sidelines. WTH

For those of you preparing your 12th man / TAMU letters of displeasure, please consider adding:

Whoever signed off on allowing M McConaugh-gay to roam the sidelines with the team should be fired or reprimanded.

Not acceptable to allow this ever again. He's not a player, support staff, or a coach.

    He's a two bit groupie.
He's nothing more than a Beatles groupie, a Swiftie.

If some rich alum's wife wants him around, fine at their place, in her suite. They can grope each other.
He shouldn't be allowed on Kyle Field ever.
    He should have been removed.

Media slobbered all over him all night long.

    PR stunt at our expense.

He's a buffoon who is promoting himself every chance he gets.

    Inexcusable oversight.

Tough enough just having to listen to Herb and Fowler wet themselves with glee.

If he wants to be a mascot, fine. Get rid of the cow.
Put a dog collar around his neck and hand him over to an overweight , heavily tattooed Dominatrix holding a leash and stick him in the endzone.

Wound tight around the axle of the tractor I see. 😂
