  1. Trossard for Jorj, and Jesus for Martinelli? Attacking. COYG. This is either going to end really well. Or really badly.
  2. Kane shithousery escapes a red card. imshocked.gif
  3. He obv adds more going forward, but Bayern have been cooking down that wing. Not sure, but In Arteta We Trust.
  4. Bayern have one shot, and two goals. Sufficed to say, we can't have played much worse. All four defenders (outside of White's saving tackle) have had disaster classes. Arteta needs to lay into the lads. Crowd needs to get back into it, too. I think we have goals in us in the 2H. Can the defense wake the fuck up, though? Hopefully. COYG
  5. I'd expect we see Tomi for the 2H. Hopefully we don't shoot ourselves in the foot again before HT.
  6. We're all over the place. Benny Blanco with a tie-saving tackle. Calm down, Arsenal.
  7. Haven't trailed since Liverpool in the FA Cup. We're about to find out what were made of.
  8. Shit fuck Both centerbacks having shit days. Not great bob
  9. This Madrid-City match is already drunk AF
  10. This has been our "big game" XI of late. Thought Tomiyasu might get a start since he's a bit better in 1v1 duels. Partey, too, since Jorg played darn near 90' on Saturday. Still.... Lets. Fucking. Go
  11. I'm intrigued by this "en salsa Americana." Did The Boy provide any details?
  12. Hopefully the fact that the ref is European and thus less likely to get blinded by "Good 'Ol 'Arry Kane, England Captain" bullshit and Kane won't get his usual "completely horseshit because that cocksucker dives more than anyone" penalty.
  13. Apparently the deduction was over a disputed £6.5m loss. Yes, you read that correctly. £6.5m Meanwhile, 115 Financial Violations FC just keep rolling along. https://www.theguardian.com/football/2024/apr/08/everton-hit-with-two-point-deduction-over-second-breach-of-financial-rules
  14. I mean, just, damn. Compare that with who we likely start on Tuesday: Martinelli/Gabriel Jesus, Havertz, Saka Jorginho, Rice, Odegaard Tomiyasu, Gabriel, Saliba, White Raya None of that previous lineup makes it in Tuesdays XI. Alexis, Walcott, and LeHair would be very nice options off the bench, not to mention having an Alexis or a Theo in this squad would allow Saka some off days. Koscielny had the misfortune of playing alongside Mustafi, and I think we forget how good was for us at a difficult stretch for The Arsenal; he would have given his left nut to have Gabi XL or Rolls Royce as his CB partner.
  15. Yep. Passing at 130R and Spoon, battles from P3 -17, different strategies. That was a fun race.* I've only driven it on my Xbox, but Suzuka is such a badass track. *Obligatory "other than Max driving off into the distance unchallenged."
  16. I think our League fate will decided the week of April 20 - 28: Chelsea (who play up to their competition) three days after Wolves (major banana peel game) and right before the NLD (I mean, it's the NLD and Spurs seem to be over their midseason funk). That's a seriously mean list of fixtures. Our solidity in midfield and defense since the winter break does give me hope. Five goals conceded in 11 matches (three of which were fluky: sandcastle got a garbage time goal while we were up 4-nil, Brentford got a gift from Ramsdale who wasn't up to match speed, and Porto was on the final kick of the ball from a brain fart clearance Martinelli won't make again); we aren't winning matches by the seat of our pants while our hair's on fire. We're controlling matches and making the opponent tap. If somehow we can get through that stretch without dropping points, I think we'll get it done.
  17. Guy on the left is w/ hand over mouth Jamie Carragher, Merseyside native and former Liverpool CB. Guy on the right smiling is Gary Neville, Manchester native and former ManUre RB. Both were boyhood fans of their respective clubs.
