  1. No, but that building/site is finally going to be used again: https://www.superstitionatx.com/ Superstition is an elite multi-room nightclub in Austin, Texas. Channeling the energy of the 1970s, Superstition combines world class entertainment including DJs and live performances with elevated bottle service and exclusive VIP spaces in the largest dance club in downtown Austin. With over 12,000 sqft of elevated space, Superstition also hosts the Gold Room, a cocktail lounge and patio featuring reimagined classic cocktails for a more intimate experience.
  2. And the reason he's been able to sign so many linemen is because he doesn't have to worry about the numbers. If he did have to worry about the numbers, one of the other positions would be at a deficit, but they are not: all are +, because there isn't an overall limit.
  3. Well aware. He's killing it on the trail for sure. The tweet was about how Sark is doing better at stacking numbers at positions than the previous 2 coaches. The reason Sark is doing better at stacking numbers at positions than the previous 2 coaches is that he doesn't have to worry about numbers. It's like praising someone in a 911 for winning a race vs someone in a Camry.
  4. The portal and transfers aren't the issue. It's the fact that Sark hasn't had the limitations on initial counters. You're praising a guy for having better numbers when he hasn't had any restrictions to worry about while his predecessors did.
  5. Obviously not 2021-2022 season, or even a league match, but VfB Stuttgart vs FC Köln next Saturday at Q2. Fan information on the US tour On Monday 14 November VfB Stuttgart embark on a week-long trip to Austin. We round up all the latest information for fans. The highlight of VfB’s trip to Texas, in footballing terms at least, will be the friendly against 1. FC Köln on Saturday 19 November (kick-off: 15:00 local time) at the Q2-Stadium in Austin. Tickets are available online. During the week, VfB will have a number of engagements in Austin and Texas in addition to their daily training sessions. On Sunday 20 November, the team will attend the American football game of the Houston Texans against the Washington Commanders. On Tuesday and Thursday, the VfB football school camps will take place in Austin with children, adolescents and coaches from the region. On Thursday 17 November at 17:30 there will be a fan meeting hosted by the German-American Heritage Society - a symbol of the long-standing German-American history in Austin. All fans are welcome to attend the event, just as they are at the team’s open training session on the same day at 13:00 at Austin FC’s St. David’s Performance Center. Another fan meeting is also planned for day of the match itself, starting at 11:30, this time at the stadium. During the fan meeting, there will be an e-sports contest between fans from Germany and the USA with VfB players and legends. In addition to the team, VfB’s travelling party will also include the mascot Fritzle and VfB legends Cacau and Ricardo Osorio. https://www.vfb.de/en/vfb/latest/news/professionals/2223/faninfos-zur-us-tour/
  6. Correct me if I'm wrong, but Sark hasn't been restricted by initial counters. According to that breakdown, he signed 29.5 players per year vs 21.5 players per year the previous 7.
  7. I don't get the Kiffin to Auburn angle. Like, why? He's making $7.5M and Harsin was at $5.5M. Killing it at Ole Miss w/ 10W last year and likely to hit 10 again this year. He is an absolute golden god in Oxford and has his team rolling. Why on earth would he go to Auburn just to rebuild that mess?
  8. Almost posted that the other day but got sidetracked. Arguably one of the most impressive things I've ever seen in autosport. Simply ridiculous.

    Burgers

Pretty much. That looks a little more jumbo sized than mine was, but yeah.
  10. It definitely doesn't work like that for G5, or at least most of G5 (I'd venture the Cinci, UCF and Boise types are more P5 structured). It's been a while since I delved into the uniform/apparel contracts, but most aren't getting any money at all. They'll get their gear at cost and some amount of credit - say $100K to spend on that gear. So if it cost $200K to outfit all athletes and coaches for a year, their bill is $100K. Example: The University of Texas at San Antonio Roadrunners, for example, have a deal with Adidas. That contract includes a $275,000 apparel and equipment allowance and zero cash annually. https://www.bizjournals.com/sanantonio/blog/2014/01/utsas-adidas-deal-a-bargain-compared.html
