  1. Hm that feedback is higher than I thought, that could be tricky
  2. This whole thing is getting sad but the butter knife detail is too much. Hope he gets the help he clearly needs.
  3. I mean the craziest part of this story isn't the affair...it's the post-firing events that led to his arrest
  4. Seems like most draftniks have him as a round 2/3 guy. Also seems like most 9.95ers expect him to likely come back. But who knows
  5. Idk if he'd go to any of those tbh. ATM would make him the highest paid coach in CFB to keep him. He's already top 5 now. BUT, he did spend a year as ND's DC and Bama is bama. Michigan looking like too much of a shit show right now.
  6. Here's the thing: if he leaves at a high point like this, he can always get another college HC job whenever he wants. Look at Matt Rhule ffs
  7. I mean we just heard Malakai Lee was impressed by Moore visiting him in Hawaii...
  8. Maybe Jeff Choate wants a soft exit from Nevada. Surprised he even still has his job there. He could use a do-over.
  9. There's a very good chance Michigan is about to have to find a new AD at the same time as a new coach. Oh, and Larry Ellison's net worth just dropped $30B today so they've got that going for them too.
  10. Gotta keep Goosby around to protect Arch's blindside
  11. Wilcox was also PK's boss (as DC) at Boise for a while
  12. Losing two coaches is one thing but sticking with a program that blatantly hid this stuff until you signed is another. I'd tell them to kick rocks. Wonder how that works with NIL though
  13. Yeah the fact pattern says that something else clearly happened. 1st team all offseason to suddenly behind Stroh and even post-DUI true freshman Brooks? Obviously I have no idea what happened behind the scenes or who's to blame but something must have happened.
  14. I just read Norval McKenzie's GT bio and his sons names are Storm and Bolt. Must hire.
  15. Honest question - how much does a show cause really matter especially if only a few months? Does that mean they can't hire him?
  16. Question is: How hard would Bama fight to keep DeBoer? Just like - how hard would Texas fight if Bama came after Sark? Fwiw - Cignetti's buyout is $15mm if someone poaches him which is a lot less than most of these schools are paying to fire their guy. And Michigan (or Bama hypothetically) wouldn't have to pay their coach to leave.
  17. So if Deboer goes to Michigan, and assuming they can't pull someone away from a job they just accepted, who does Bama go after? Freeman? Would Cignetti leave? Sark getting another extension out of it?
  18. Deboer wouldn't surprise me. Obviously everyone wants Cignetti. Jesse Minter would be interesting for them too. Hadn't thought about Gruden but the entertainment factor would be excellent.
  19. How do we feel about Tony Alford as potential RB coach? Michigan secondary coach is from Copperas Cove too. Could be interesting.
  20. Michigan Freshman AA WR Andrew Marsh is from Katy..
  21. Vandy, Mizzou, Arky, Auburn the highest in the SEC on here. Even though these are non-QB runs, it seems like a lot of the top performers do a lot of QB running. Looking at rumored RB coach candidate schools - GT was pretty elite and Mckenzie is also their Run Game Coordinator (if that actually means anything). UF and LSU above average on YAC, not good on scheme/blocking. Nebraska plenty of running room but RBs not doing much extra. And this definitely won't quiet the Samples fanboys. I kinda like this Mckenzie guy. Sounds like more focus is on Juluke and Wilson but he's a younger guy with a nice track record of production.
  22. Not a direct answer but just posted this in another thread. Basically implies the blocking/scheme sucks and the RBs suck this year.
  23. This is an interesting way to look at the run game. No surprise but Texas sucks at blocking and YAC. Caleb Hawkins and both Mizzou RBs are ballers. I don't think this is adjusted for strength of schedule at all.
