  1. I assume you’re just basing this off of recruit rankings, but they’re generally pretty terrible at rating OL. It’s easy to rate physical freaks. like Banks and Campbell, as 5 stars, but after that they’re terrible at projecting guys. Flood hasn’t done anything to make me question his OL evaluating and development skills. I like all of our takes as long term developmental guys and none of them will need to play year 1. Most of them probably won’t even play year 2.
  2. Seriously, @SydneyCarton‘s on here making a day’s worth of typos by 6 AM.
  3. I, for one, think it’s time to let KKL run the aggy “NIL” program. I fully support her brilliant idea.
  4. Glass houses and all. Mine was just an iPhone autocorrect.
  5. You threw out the “just asking, I could be wrong” stupid first post, which is fine but now you’re sticking with it in the face of being clearly wrong. Time to let it go. Shaka making excuses for sucking is irrelevant. Oats or any CBB coach knows Shaka sucks and won’t care about his excuses for why he failed after getting more time than most other programs would’ve given him.
  6. Lol wut. It was clear Shaka sucked 2 years in and he was given 5 years to show something. Beard had every ounce of support possible and was building something when he threw it all away by his own doing. Neither of those show any kind of toxicity, and there was nothing wrong with how Shaka was fired. He was given more than enough time and support; he’s just a shitty basketball coach.
  7. It’s adorable that BQ15 thinks they’ll only need 20 transfers to fill out the 85.
  8. You are not even close, but that’s not really a surprise coming from you. I hope you sent Loop 1604 a gift basket for keeping you from being the dumbest poster on this site.
  9. I guess Arkansas has to be a basketball school now since they haven’t won shit in football for about 6 decades. Doesn’t mean you’re a good basketball school, but you are a basketball school.
  10. No one ever said those things would be true, but don’t let that keep you from white knighting against strawmen to make yourself feel better.
  11. Are people actually pushing for that? I haven’t seen anyone actually widgets it, but it would be a monumentally stupid take if they are. I definitely think Oats and Muschamp are the most obvious if we could get them. After that, you have promising guys at small schools, but they’re pretty unproven and CDC certainly seems to target coaches who have already proven themselves at the P5 level.
  12. It’s extremely unlikely to happen, but any scenario where Beard stays involved his fiancée being on his side, signing an affidavit of non-prosecution and posting a statement saying it was all her fault. So yeah, if she wants to go scorched earth, he’s absolutely done. The only way he keeps his job is by staying with her, which is a huge problem. There’s no way the decision makers will be comfortable sticking their neck out for Beard if she’s still with him. She’s caused trouble on her own in the past and they clearly have a toxic relationship.
  13. What kind of revisionist history is this? There were plenty of people on this board that thought Epps was an underwhelming take while he was a recruit. I always hated the take because he was going to have to become an extremely good blocker to pan out at TE, and there was nothing that indicated he would become a blocker. He always viewed himself as a receiver/receiving TE, despite lacking the athleticism to create any separation.
  14. Lol wut. Just because he was soft doesn’t mean he was otherwise gifted athletically. Epps ran a 5 second 40 at 225 lbs. Lack of athleticism and physical talent was absolutely a huge part of the problem with him.
  15. From the outside you can’t explain it… I would really enjoy seeing you wield a Looch-style ban hammer around here. And by Looch-style, I do mean a dildo.
  16. Some people say there’s no such thing as a stupid question. Those people are wrong.
  17. Their completely unwarranted hubris. FIFY
  18. You cite an ESPN article and then conclude he probably doesn’t have any better options than QB2 at Texas? That is some Football Board-quality posting right there.
  19. There were definitely GA tickets available close to the race for less than face value on ticket services. If they really want that much for GA then I’m either doing a grandstand or will wait to buy as prices drop. There’s no way GA can hold $475 all the way up to the race.
  20. Genuine question since I didn’t watch F1 during the refueling era, was refueling actually more entertaining? I’ve gone back and watched some races where they had refueling and it seemed like it limited the amount of wheel to wheel action between the best cars and the only suspense was how long the pit stop would take and where the leaders were after their final pit stop. Usually there would be a decent gap and then you knew who would win without much actual fighting on track.
  21. This is the part that definitely needs to change. It’s ridiculous to lock teams in after one session. RB is the bets run team on the grid and most of their worst races were sprint weekends, like Austria and Brazil where they got the setups wrong, because one session isn’t enough. Now we’re going to have 6 weekends where teams have to just guess and hope they got the setup right? It’s ridiculous .
  22. Shitty loss, but this team is still damn good. Hopefully we learn to close out games moving forward. We struggled to close out both Creighton and this game.
