My confidence is based on reading the horror stories dealing with transition regret.
Do you routinely look up these “horror stories” to read all about transitioning? Your anecdotes have no bearing on your lack of expertise and the fact that in reality, no one gives a shit what you think about the process.

Are they a trans if they haven't even begun the transition? Maybe.
It isn’t a maybe, it’s a yes. Ever heard of transgender? Climb out from under your rock and join society and progress.

I heard that, too.
Pathetic.
The interviewer (can't remember - David Green?) flat out asked her "why is it so hard for you to answer the question if the shutdown is worth a possible air disaster or terrorist attack" (or words to that effect). She was a blithering idiot.
Also, I don't hear too many talking heads discussing how this may affect the 2020 elections. Maybe most have already decided that the GOP is toast. Except for the "base", that is.
At the sake of my sanity, do you have a link to the “interview”?

Well if I see a thread I don’t care about, I don’t drive by trolling proclaiming how much I don’t care about it’s content. It’s just a little strange.

You won’t see my tears. It won’t affect my life. How soon though? You seem plugged in and should know.
For someone who alludes to not caring, you sure do seem to...care

MSNBC reporting that trump and his campaign speechwriters are forming several drafts of the SOTU address, one of which will be crafted for a speech at a rally if they have to give it at that type of venue.
Torbush.
If he has it at a moron rally, I hope all the networks refuse to show it. We know fox will, keep that drivel there b

Democrats need to step up and pass legislation to fix this. Senate won’t pass it, but keep painting the GOP as the party of bigotry

I think that Harris and Booker are going to run to try and elevate their star status and I think it is going to backfire incredibly. Maybe even toss Warren in that category too. It just isn't the right time for either of them. They'll be put in the same corner as little Marco.
Say what you want about trump, he might not have known policy and he might have been pandering to a far right base, but he absolutely hit Hillary with perfect jabs and some haymakers during the debates that did more damage than knowledge on any subject could overcome. That's what the dems are fighting against. It isn't about who knows the inner workings of the EU the best or how to handle trade with china. It is about who is made of teflon and who doesn't stumble when they get hit. Booker, Harris, and maybe even warren will absolutely start stuttering the second they are punched. Or they'll pull a Mitt romney and hit back but in a way that is seen as bitchy and petty (like when mitt wanted to bet $10k on a policy position). I know people will say that Trump's hits are petty and bitchy and it is true. But in a fight it is always the second punch that gets caught and punished, never the first.
Yeah trump hit her with the fatal, “I know you are but what am I” retort during the debates. You can’t beat that.

What’s the chance medical pot passes this session? I mean, come on, it’s 2019.

Just load that ridiculously horrific speech on the trash pile of the trump presidency. Another complete disgrace, but what else should we expect at this point.
This is on the Republican Party, a party whose brand is rightfully now worse than zero among the youth of America. It’s incumbent upon us who are older to make sure that Trump and the republicans don’t destroy the country first before the youth can take it back and restore it.
After watching some youth of this country harass an elder Native American with nary an ounce of humanity....I’m not sure I have much hope in our youth anymore.

Ah, Nancy. The future of the Democratic Party
And so far she’s owning your traitorous president. What does it feel like knowing you’ve been supporting a president that has encouraged perjury and supported working with a hostile nation to win the presidency? We won’t forget that you’re a supporter of a traitor.

And to really blow your mind, I’m pretty sure I do have a disc bulge. But guess what, most are asymptomatic.

If you've never had a ruptured disk you should probably back out of this as gracefully as you can. I have, and they hurt like hell. As El Diablo said, time (and steriods) heal them.
Nope not going to. I treat this all the time. But thanks for the concern

Not to interrupt a good Surly pissing match, but there are many degrees on the spectrum. When you have an acute disc issue like I had, PT wasn't going to to allow me to function in any capacity. I took pain killers until the steroid injections did their magic. Time and PT have done the rest, but the first few days would have been impossible without chemical help.
And I absolutely agree with you. Acute disc injuries take some time for pain to decrease enough for more movement. The jelly takes time to reabsorb so until it does, those nerves will be very inflamed. But, they do heal and function will return with WORK and EXERCISE.

Time. "Work and exercise" do not "heal" discs.
Weird I must have been imagining patients coming through my clinic feeling better after injuring discs 🤷🏽♂️
