  1. Who cares?... You want to have a dick measuring contest with Oklahoma State? Be my guest, Brah. As far as the mean old Texas shit, I mean it is what it is. Texas has wanted to get paid instead of being a good business partner since the beginning of the Big 12. Are we going to try and pretend it was anything else? Why would we try and delude ourselves? Nebraska wanted to get paid, Missouri wanted to get paid, Colorado wanted to get paid, A&M wanted to get paid, USC wanted to get paid, UCLA wanted to get paid.... Texas wanted to get paid, and it is what it is.
  2. A lot of cap in here about the Big 12 and future viewership, and it comes off as misplaced pettiness by Texas fans. As a Texas fan myself, I don't get it. Anyway.... Clemson rumblings. https://www.postandcourier.com/sports/carolina/sapakoff-clemsons-acc-departure-may-be-sooner-as-gamecocks-fret/article_844ab88a-5b9d-11ee-bf7f-13daaf7cde8d.html
  3. ESPN isn't paying all that money for media rights to just put every Big 12 game on ESPN +. That just isn't happening. As far as talking shit because you are leaving for a different conferece... that seems like some dumb aggy shit to me. We only won the motherfucker like three times, so it can't be that terrible of a conference.
  4. This probably has way more to do with comparing viewership of broadcasts on FOX, ABC, and ESPN with broadcasts on FS1. I don't really understand the attempted flex here.
  5. WWE Smackdown is moving to NBC/USA starting next year.
  6. I don't understand the point of this thread. The SEC has stunk it up pretty bad so far, maybe even worse than the Big 12.
  7. This. It is clear in the bylaws, and from recent precedent, that a school loses board voting rights upon notice of withdrawal. All of these universities that are leaving have had regents meetings where they voted on leaving the conference, and they have all made announcements of their decicions to leave the Pac 12. This is pretty straight forward. If the teams wanted to liquidate and distribute Pac 12 assets, they should have held a vote to dissolve before they actually left the conference.
  8. Not quite sure where to put this, but seems kind of relevant... NIL a better thread for it?
  9. I do not watch TAMUs, Auburns, or Arkansas games, so you can count me in for TCU-Baylor and Tech-OSU.
  10. That has to do with CFP payout distribution, but perhaps that also includes reserving a portion of the conference media rights distribution for CFP inclusion and success.
  11. Overall. So, they are looking to add about 2 MM per team per year, or maybe 30 MM divided up between 3 or 4 schools.
  12. Was about to post this. I have no idea what is going on, but I do not believe it was ever reported that the Big 12 had "conversations" with those schools. Hopefully it means CalFord is going to the Mountain West.
